Customer Review

I'm glad they put these out, but wish they had respected the structure of the original comics. Volume 1 is nicely split up into the deluxe Books one and two. unfortunately, they split volume 2 into Books 3 and 4 and also crammed volume 3 into book 4.

As Volume 3 came significantly later and is quite different and really feels like a miniseries in its own right, it's really upsetting that DC didn't just make a Deluxe Book Five to accommodate it.

But this is all hair-splitting isn't it? This is still probably the best way to read these comics, which stand as one of the greatest statements in comics history and essential reading for not just comics fans but seekers of consciousness, philosophy, mysticism, and the occult.
