During reuse, I got approximately eight uses out of it before the plunger completely stuck.
It worked well at first to dispense a thicker liquid suspension (critical care, a hay-based product mixed with water), but it worked noticeably poorly by the fifth reuse. The graduation marks began wearing off by the second washing and by the seventh, looked like the uploaded photograph (mostly gone), despite my attempts to preserve the markings during washing.
The tapered long neck is useful for oral feeding and decanting into smaller syringes, which is what I ended up doing half the time due to my pet’s small mouth (8 lb rabbit) and the fact that I found the full syringe extremely difficult to administer one-handed. I never ended up using the caps, as I prepared fresh suspensions each time.
No fault to the product, it worked beyond its stated use, would buy again.
