Generally speaking this monitor stand is pretty good for the price. There's some assembly and a few manual adjustments, but once you get it where you want it you're probably going to be fine. However, I have an older monitor that might be a bit heavier than most (13 lbs) or perhaps the weight distribution is odd. It's well within the weight specs for the stand (the specs on the stand say it's good for up to 22lbs), but the tilt function isn't quite up to the weight so the screen points downwards if unsupported. Unfortunately this is one of the connections doesn't seem to be able to be tightened up. Currently I'm propping the monitor up with a small box. This is OK in my situation, since I mainly got this stand to attach my monitor to a computer cart at the proper height, although I'd obviously prefer that it was self-supporting. One of the bolt covers was also damaged on arrival so it doesn't "snap in", but this is purely cosmetic so I didn't bother trying to get a replacement. Generally speaking this seems sturdy enough (I'm not concerned about it's ability to hold the monitor) and does the job other than the tilt.
