A
The SEL18200 would be better in that it has the OSS for stabilized images, which will come in handy at the longer range of the lens. As Alpha DSLRs use in-body image stabilization, this lens would not have any lens stabilization so you'll need to shoot with a tripod or have solid, steady hands. As both the SEL18200 and this lens are APS-C format lenses, the multiplier is 1.5 so you'll get a 300mm lens and a 450mm respectively when converting to a full frame format.

What is the equivalent focal length and zoom multiplier with the nex-5? Would the sel18200 be a better telephoto lens?
