What is this Prime member benefit?

The Amazon Prime prescription savings benefit provides savings on the price you pay for prescription medications if you do not have or are not using insurance. This benefit is not insurance. It is included with your Prime membership at no additional cost. This benefit can be used at over 60,000 participating retail pharmacies in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, including Amazon Pharmacy. This program is administered by Inside Rx, LLC.

How do I use this benefit?

When ordering from Amazon Pharmacy, the Prime prescription savings benefit is automatically applied. You will be able to view your price with and without insurance before ordering and checking out. To use your Prime prescription savings benefit at other retail pharmacies, just present your digital Prime prescription savings card at the pharmacy when filling your prescription. If you would like to have a physical copy, take a screenshot of the card and print the screenshot. View the list of participating pharmacies.

Do I need a prescription to use this benefit?

The Prime prescription savings benefit is not a substitute for a prescription. You must present or have a valid prescription to receive any prescription drugs.

Can I use this benefit with my insurance?

The Prime prescription savings benefit is not insurance and it cannot be combined with your insurance, copay cards, or any other secondary payer such as a manufacturer prescription assistance program. You can choose to use the Prime prescription savings benefit if you have insurance, but the cost of your medication may not apply toward your deductible or other cost-sharing requirements.
