Thanks for sharing life Michael Savage this was a fun book with some great stories. I grew up also in a poor family with an absent father. There was 6 0f us only a year apart living in the suburbs of Seattle. It was in the 50 and 60's we had tough days but it was still good times with many great memories. We even had a dog named tippy who was crazy. The first slice of pizza did smell like vomit. It was like a new visit to the past with very similar life stories. I got my clothes usually from the good will. . I am going to give my copy to a close friend who grew up on long island and I know he will really enjoy this as I have. This book will take you on a journey through life like few such books ever do. Get it now, you will not regret it.
