5.0 out of 5 starsInvaluable resource for those on the construction side of the industry
Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2012
I work for a major general contractor in the United States, and I bought this book about a year ago for the Kindle. A few points on why it has been so invaluable to me:
1. BIM is, and will continue to be, one of the hottest topics in the construction industry. If you work in construction you've certainly know that BIM is becoming a bigger part of what we do every day. This book is a great jumping off point as well as a reference while you are on a job.
2. It is one of the few books on BIM that is written with from a construction perspective. There are an increasing number of books out there that talk about BIM, but so many of those are written from a design perspective, or from a more abstract perspective. This book speaks to issues specific to the construction industry from setting up a job trailer to running a coordination meeting.
3. Since it is available in Kindle format, I've been able to have this information at my fingertips on any number of devices I have either in the office or in the field. I've referred to this book on my smartphone, tablet and or course my Kindle.
If you work in construction, I would highly recommend this book to help get you up to speed on especially important topic.
