I've got this and a more advanced book, both part of the official Autodesk training. There are some topics which were not covered in either book. I wish there was a comprehensive training that was somehow structured differently, but I haven't given a lot of thought to how it should be structured.
At any rate, these books allowed me to complete some projects in Revit LT. Any difficulty I had I would blame on the program, not the books. Of course you will probably buy the current book, but since the program is slow to evolve, you might grab this to save $$$.
