Perfect Boxed Collection!

I ordered the blue collection set that pieces together Hogwarts in the spines of all the books combined. The books came perfectly in their boxed collection set. Each book, though paperback, has a soft/matte cover. Each chapter at the top has an illustration. Bought this for myself (I’m 24 and reading for the first time, be jealous! Nothing like that special first time experience!) to pass down to my kids & hopefully their kids because I know Harry Potter will be a lifetime classic!

I gave away (*cough* burned) all of my Harry Potter books when Sirius Black fell through the veil fifteen years ago, thus ending my childhood. I did a swell job of avoiding the fandom completely, until recently, when I decided it was time to move on with my life, and set out to read the series with the help of a qualified grief counselor. I very nearly purchased them as ebooks, but then I saw this set. It’s just so PRETTY. Really, truly pretty. The box is pretty, the books are pretty, Sirius himself is pretty yet troubled, it’s all very pretty.

Do I recommend the set? Yes.
Do I recommend the books? Well let me ask you this: Is Game of Thrones too bloody for you? If yes, then no. If no, you enjoy the blood, and wish that GRRM kill even more beloved characters, then Harry Potter is probably the universe for you. Enjoy yourself, you sadist!

I bought this collection as a gift for my girlfriend. Before choosing this one I saw a couple of reviews showing beautiful illustrations, between other choices of Harry Potter collections, the illustrations I saw for this book series is what made me choose this collection in particular. Unfortunately this group of books did not have the illustrations. Although my gf liked the gift, we were both slightly disappointed that it wasn't what we expected. I personally believe that pictures of products that are not of the item(s) being bought should not be displayed on the reviews. I wouldn't have bought this item if that were the case.

I'm that person that is ALWAYS rereading Harry Potter even if I have a huge tbr list. I have the complete set in hardcover but my purses were getting a bit too heavy whenever I read them so I decided to buy this set. I love this box set so much. The cover art for each book is beautiful. Plus I can easily put them in my bags and not have to worry about either book weighing down my bag. Also, the price is totally worth it. If you're thinking about buying this just do it! :) 💛🖤

I was extremely disappointed that I bought two sets of these for my grandchildren for Christmas after reading all the reviews about the wonderful illustrations in the books. My grandchildren started reading these today only to find they are not illustrated.
Very misleading and seemingly dishonest. I should have known that it was too good to be true.

Solid Box, Paper in books feel a bit thin

I wanted to re-read the books after a number of years. Of course I was missing two books out of the set I had, so I ordered these. The price kept changing, so I waited till it went down a bit and ordered. The box is very solid; but the books feel a bit like the paper is thin. A younger person might end up tearing some pages. But I like the art work on the end of the book when in the box.

I absolutely love this collection. I was hesitant on getting it because I had read some iffy reviews about missing books or damaged books, however I had no issues with this! got this as a birthday present and it was amazing!! The books are in perfect condition and look amazing in the box. The decorative box that the books come in is cardboard so the corners were a bit pushed in, but you can hardly notice- plus its a cardboard box- what else do you expect. This came in such good time, only two days. The packaging was amazing... the decorative box with the books inside was sealed and there was some bubble wrap tp prevent it from shifting in the box. I love the design on these books. Everything from these books, exceeds my expectations and I highly recommend buying this special edition set for anyone who enjoys Harry Potter! You will not be disappointed.

I’m not sure why lots of the reviews show a beautiful illustrated series. I was under the impression that was what I was receiving. While I love the Hogwarts book spines, the insides of the books are plain. It’s very misleading to have reviews that are not for the actual product shown.
