I highly recommend this book to anyone involved with UX strategy, whether you are the strategist or simply working in a field that requires UX strategy.

I've been searching for a book that clearly outlines the process from start to finish for validating a business idea, and this book does exactly that. It explains how to take an idea from concept to either kill, pivot, or execution, which makes for an easy-to-follow approach to UX strategy.

The first time through the book, I highlighted and bookmarked pages; the second time through I will use it as a guide with my next client; and each time thereafter I will use it as a reference. This book will never see Goodwill; it will be a definite go-to in my library.

What I particularly liked about this book is that is truly all anyone needs to get started. Jaime does an excellent job explaining her process, which she's used for over 20 years, which therein lies a lot of value. Where else can you find such a treasure trove of helpful information? Without this book, I would be spending a lot more time troubleshooting the process. Why reinvent the wheel when this book is available to you?

As a long time product manager in both startups and big corporate companies I can truly say that UX strategy is one of my favorite UX books. It highlights the most important tactics and practices in an overwhelmingly congested domain of UX, business, and product design strategies.

The book is very well written with a straight to the point writing style and a wide variety of examples that helps readers see how the UX concepts are implemented in real life. I appreciated the chapters’ opening stories and their lesson learned paragraphs that served as a great introduction to every topic.

The true added value of this UX strategy book is that you can equally learn from it whether you are looking to learning the overall concepts of UX, product and business strategy or if you’re looking for a step by step manual for implementing a UX strategy project effectively.

Conclusion: Must read for all product, business, and UX professionals out there.

I'm a BSA and have helped design a few websites, as I've learned things like usability, web best practices, information architecture, and more, I've felt like there was so much more to learn. I purchased Enter UX Strategy to master some great techniques I felt to be lacking. I've gotten a great understanding of what it is. Levy gives good examples and steps while going through some sample projects.
After reading this book, I feel I have a learned a lot about UX Strategy. Levy breakes down what UX Strategy is, why it matters, and how to do it. Any UX person, or anyone else, could learn and be inspired by this book.

I was looking for the content strategy book from someone who understands UX or other way around. UX Strategy was a no brainier. Traditionally, the UX deliverables don't focus on validated user research or business strategy and it is mostly because of tight budgets, tight deadlines, teams that don't understand the process, and UX still being a relatively new thing in this digital business. In desire to be more objective in my deliverables I needed something to validate my process. I picked up UX Strategy and I love it. It's absolutely fantastic. Beside validation for my process I was able to fill many knowledge gaps. I also realized how to simplify my process and make my life much easier. I feel the UX strategy is on the forefront of UX evolution. Thank you Jaime.

User experience design for newcomers can be a bit overwhelming because it involves so many principles, add to that the field is growing and changing. This book was helpful in that it provides real examples and the outcomes. As a newcomer to the UX field, this book doesn't inundate you with jargon, explains everything clearly, and provides links to other books and resources that can better introduce you to the field. Today we are solving problems that did not exist 10 years ago on digital platforms and this book will definitely help guide the first important steps of the process.

I just finished this book and it was very inspiring. I learned a lot of practical things I can use in my current role and that is invaluable. Jaime goes beyond discipline and really breaks down the alignment of strategy and the multiple facets of user experience. To me this demonstrated the need for UX principles to overlap the strategy in order to truly innovate a better user offering.

This book is incredibly useful to entrepreneurs, engineers, or developers looking to develop great digital products that people will actually want and buy. Loved the consistent focus on the user. Bonus - great insights at the end that apply not just to UX design, but to any endeavor.

This book literally changed my life and has given me an opportunity to grow my learning in so many ways. I have a clear understanding on what it takes to iterate on digital product ideas and ultimately provide value to startups (who court my services). The 4 tenets are a regular part of my professional vernacular and I can now verbalize and present ideas in specific and meaningful ways to businesses who often undervalue UX. Thanks again for contributing this piece to the world Jaime!

This book discusses how to make a product that is more likely to be a successful product instead of wasting money on a product that wastes your money. This book teaches you how to do user research to find out what they really wants. It also teaches many business strategy such as competitive research, persona. It teaches you a lot of stuff which you can show to your investors. Good book for internet startups.

This UX Strategy book stands out in the UX field as a much-needed and very practically-minded bridging of business strategy and UX design. You’ll get a lot of value out of it whether you’re a UX newbie building your first startup or you’re a seasoned designer or executive at a Fortune 500. The book is also written in a fun and encouraging way - Jaime Levy’s down-to-earth passion for her innovations and teaching is motivating and infectious. This book has clearly been a labour of love for her.
