Several comments were how this book was poorly written, jumped around or more about Admiral McRaven's experiences. I found the book to be an excellent tool. I could have read it in one day but took three days to stop and make notes of his pearls of wisdom. I typed out 11 positives I got and not using his Table of Contents. Many positive feedbacks. I've printed out several copies and have mailed to family and friends, including my nephew, a Lt Col. I keep a copy by my chair and view it as one of my first accomplishments of the day. And BTW, Admiral McRaven's stories are very interesting.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is a very quick and easy read. I had heard a lot about it and I think my expectations were a bit too high. It is written in a very simple and straightforward way which is great for getting the message across to the masses, but there were times I felt that the writing was a bit pedestrian and I found myself skimming some pages. Overall, great book and would recommend it for anyone looking for a little bit of motivation.
