Not Tracy's best

Decent book, with some good insights here and there. But it seemed like so much of an overview of lots of different tactics and ideas that I didn't find it incredibly valuable. If you're looking for Tracy's best, get Eat That Frog.

Those who are familiar with Brian Tracy's other works will probably not learn too many new concepts from MILLION DOLLAR HABITS 2ND EDITION but for those new to Brian Tracy's teachings this book will be an outstanding read for them. It contains most of Brian's Classic Success concepts for Career, Sales and Enterpreneurship. The reader new to Brian Tracy will learn ideas and principles to advance in his or her Career or Profession if he or she applies them. The only drawback to this book was the bonus insert of the Perry Marshall book "80/20...". Unlike me, many readers will not be interested in Sales and Marketing, especially eCommerce Marketing and that book's technical nature detracts from the typical enjoyment of Brian Tracy's Personal Development teachings. The bonus excerpt "80/20..." would have been better placed in Brian Tracy's book, "The Science of Entrepreneurship", where this type of knowledge is critical to the readers of that book.

This is one of the most inspiring books ever written in the self help field. I have been reading this book over and over again for the past few years that I have used this as a text book to be a millionaire.

The biggest take-away I have on this book is Chapter Nine - "The Habits of Personal Effectiveness". I worked on what Brian Tracy called "Personal Strategic Planning", thinking long term, think on paper, starting each day with a list, keeping myself focused and reviewing your goals daily. I've realized that I've enjoyed the journey and process so much and becoming a millionaire was an icing on the cake and I have to really thank Brian Tracy for keeping me focused. I have read this Chapter at least once a month for the past few years. It really helped me focus on my goals and dreams.

There will always be naysayers out there saying that you can't do it and this is ridiculous. Even my own parents didn't believe in this book when I gave this to them to read. They thought it was light weight. Despite naysayers from family, I am proof that becoming a millionaire is possible, you will just have to keep negative people out!

I finally got around to reading this book, and to my dismay, it went from 214 to 217. There's a piece of a page stuck in between and another half ripped page. It's a shame Amazon would sell a book like this. It looks like someone used it, but it's supposed to be a new book. I've learned never to buy used books from Amazon...

Otherwise, the other pages I've read were great, with action exercises and clear, practical principles... better than Dean Graziosi's millionaire secrets book. Anything Brian Tracy is worth buying.

Thinking is hard for many people. The knowledge is old school although, it sure does work if applied in your everyday life. "what you are reading today you'll be in five years." Thanks Brian Tracy for the foundation to be a continued winner. look around there are few winners today. Most people's work ethic is shot, as they have little clue what work ethic means. Hey, start with work ethic, as then move from there. Damn making my head hurt.

Million Dollar Habits is a great book that relies on the theory of cause and effect. If you think and act as the rich
do, you will obtain the same results. It is a thorough book, dealing with everything from grooming to diet.

Causation theory is fine for one's own life, but not for high stakes scenarios. What if effect precedes cause,
etc. Sometimes a significant event sends ripples through time.

Mr. Tracy's book is useful because he has synthesized the habits of the rich. Therefore much wisdom is to be
found in these pages.

IF you are into personal development and want practical, useful and easy steps to take to make your dreams into a reality, this book is a must read. I loved every single page- had marking everywhere. When I went back to write my notes down, I was like, "Screw it, I might as well just keep reading it over and over because there's too much gold here!" You can tell Brian Tracy knows his stuff and has been teaching this stuff for a long time!
