How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsI've read cover to cover many times

The agreements truly changed my life. I think of them every single day. This book puts emphasis on how to use the four agreements. I even bought extra copies to give out as "lenders" so I wouldn't lose my original one. I keep it in my night stand and refer back to it often.

1.0 out of 5 starsUninspired

I loved the 'Four agreements' and bought the 'Fifth agreement'. While I went through the 1st book in no time, it has been months of me starting the second book and putting it aside in disappointment. It is very wordy, goes in circle, there are contradicting statements within a single chapter, which can be frustrating. To be honest it is somewhat depressing and discouraging. I definitely expected more. Not sure if I can bring myself to buy another book written by the father/son duo. I am however very grateful for the Four agreements and will re-read it as prompted!

1.0 out of 5 stars Fifth Agreement IS NOT anything like the Four Agreements

The Four Agreements is by far one of THE best books ever written. Four principles that make life enjoyable and rewarding. It is a MUST read.

The Fifth Agreement is very hard to read (rambling), way too time consuming and never gets the point across.

It should tell you something that he was able to convey the 4 principles in 160 pages but it took 228 pages to convey the fifth.

I give any book a 1 star that I couldnt finish..tried many times but when i found myself skimming the pages, I just gave up.

Save your time, money and just reread The Four Agreements.

I was very disappointed to discover that this was just a summary of all of Don Miguel Ruiz's previous books, all of which I have read. If you haven't read them then I would say that this is a "Cliff's Notes" version and is worth your time. If you have read his prior books, reread them and don't waste your time with this one.

Everyone seems to want to tell the world that everything they thought was real is fiction. The fifth agreement is to be skeptical. For people who are already skeptical this book covers the same well worn path that teaches anyone that the "world is not as you see it."

This book sucks, it veers close to false or toxic positivity. If you lived a very comfortable life in a Western educated and wealthy lifestyle I guess it’s be useful. But bleh

Guess this was the wrong book for my brain. The words went in one eye and out the other. Never could understand one thing about this book. Waste of money for me.
