I’m less than halfway through this book. I find myself in a place where I really need to lean into being content with what I have in life. This book seems to offer many gems in this regard!
I have noticed many missing words. I’m smart enough to know what word was supposed to be in sentence so it makes sense… it’s still distracting. I am very content with the content outside of this. With the rise in digital books I’ve notice many newer books have errors that proofreading could have found and corrected. I hope they update this book with a proofread edition. The information is too important to be lost and undermined by so many grammatical errors.

SO THANKFUL for this book. Aside from the Bible, it has changed my life more than any other book. It is practical, easy-to-read, full of scripture, and convicting. It helped prepare my heart for some big trials in life prior to walking through them, and then I read it again while going through the trials. Helped me to truly learn the practice of contentment, gratefulness, trusting the Lord, and “doing the next right thing” rather than being anxious and discontent. Although I am a man, but I like reading Mrs. Wilson’s book written for women. It’s easy to understand and practical.

Wonderful read about being godly contentment

I really enjoyed the conversational tone of the author. It felt like my wiser older aunt or grandma was passing on her wisdom. Discontentment really is being upset with what God has given you. Its not a problem between you and your situation but rather a problem between you and the Lord. Finding contentment and resting in God's promised brings hope and peace to all of life's ups and downs.
