Guess what? Humans are probably going to Mars in our children's’ lifetimes. So this book is a great book to introduce kids to space. Cute art, good descriptions for kids to learn, and a nice glossary at the back too. My kids loved it.
What a lovely book! Although intended for toddlers, I learned quite a bit from it myself! I loved the simple but accurate explanations and the lovely illustrations! Everything is so clear and pleasant to the eyes. We need more books like this one!
I knocked off a star bc this book is more flimsy than the Solar System book of the collection (which we LOVE), but around the same price. Still, it’s a good one to have in your collection for any space-loving kid who wants to learn more about Mars.

I love the side by side comparisons of earth and mars. The engaging images, combined with the easy to understand text, makes learning about mars (and other planets) fun for young kids (not just toddlers)! Highly recommend!
Mars for Kids is a brilliant addition to the Tinker Toddlers series. This book is all about the planet Mars and shows how Mars is similar and different to other planets in the solar system but mostly our planet Earth.
This is a great book to help the children learn about the planet and I think it's great how it's focused solely on Mars as I've not seen any books for young children before based on individual planets. It was fascinating to see how the planet has so many similarities to earth and the future plans for now we'll interact with the planet, the children loved the illustrations and seeing the rockets!
Whilst the book is written in an easily understandable way for young children their are also some figures and facts that are perfect for the more inquisitive or older children and a few questions. This is great to keep the children engaged as they always love getting to shout out the answer!
Such a fun and informative book with lovely cartoon style illustrations, we enjoyed reading this book and learnt lots too.
