I've used this tape to attach the bottom edge of one of my shower doors. I did cleaned the edge well, so the tape adheres well. Once attached, I've used a couple of clamps to hold the edge frame in place solid against the door. This would help the tape to shape to the door edge and frame in a seamless fashion. About 3-4 hours later, I've added clear caulk over the top edge of the bottom frame to help seal moisture against the tape edge. I allowed overnight for drying, although I did not had to.
The tape is a good product, it is very strong, once in place, you do not want to move it. So... align the edge prior to actually sticking the product to the door edge!! Do a "dry-run" to be safe.
