Very strong blow dryer in both Europe and US

I bought this for a trip to Italy and Germany, and I was so impressed with the strength of this small blow dryer! I’m the person who never travels anywhere without my own dryer because I don’t go anywhere without doing my hair and my thick hair requires a strong dryer- not the useless ones most hotels have. I was worried when I read that when you change the voltage to use it in Europe it could only be on the low setting... but it worked wonderfully! It’s important to know that while that’s true, the “low” setting with the European voltage is NOT the same as the low setting you get in the US, it’s actually stronger. I used this for two weeks in Europe without issue and continue to use it for travel here, it’s replaced my previous travel blow dryer. I highly recommend it!

Was looking for a compact travel dryer and found it in this. That’s the best thing I can say about it, it’s foldable and compact. The dryer is small and compact but loud, and it’s not that it’s just loud but it SCREAMS at you. I don’t know if I’m just hyper sensitive but I’d literally dread having to dry my hair.
I would use the concentrator attachment everyday the slightest breeze and it would pop off. Tap it with the brush off it goes, wiggle the hair dryer, off it goes. Really got tired of chasing it around the floor.
The dryer worked well enough I will way that, it just seemed to high maintenance for me.

Recently while researching my hair dryer purchase I ran across an Amazon product review that said "I'm a guy - so I don't use hair dryers." Well, once again I am out of my demographic - as in my voting record as an old white guy. I'm a guy, and I use hair dryers, and this one is a good one.

I bought it to replace an old travel hair dryer that still worked, except overseas (!). It had a 110/220 volt slider that failed to catch when sliding it over to 220. Not very useful. This Revlon model has a small slotted turn element that can be easily operated by a screw driver or small penknife, and probably the tip of a flatware knife. I wouldn't anticipate that this mechanism for setting the voltage will so easily fail. The setting is unambiguous.

After trying the hair dryer out at home once to make sure it works, I find I am now using it all the time, instead of my dedicated home hair dryer. Like my home dryer, it is ceramic based and dries hair quickly. While the number of settings is limited (1. warm and low speed; 2. hot and high speed; 3. cool air) I have not found that to be limiting. What I love about it is it light weight and small footprint. The short barrel makes it very easy to maneuver around my head, and the low weight of course also makes it easy to hold in place. The air-flow attachment is excellent for my purposes. I just keep it in place and use it all the time.

So, as a guy, perhaps my hair dryer needs are overly simple and not representative. But even if you don't plan to make this your home hair dryer, I can't imagine a better choice for a travel dryer. The only aspect of this product that I can't address - since I've only had it a week - is its longevity. I promise to update the review in the future if and when it fails.

I love love love this hair dryer. I did extensive research on getting another one to replace my current one although not broken but old and I didn't want it to poop out during my overseas trip. Just thinking ahead! So I researched for a dual voltage, small size but still powerful (preferably 1875W power) and ........ in the end I ordered the exact same one I already own and wanted to replace before it died on me! If I had to guess the age of my older hairdryer that is the exact style and brand name, I would have to guess it is maybe at least 11 years old! I used it full time for 2 1/2 years when I lived in Holland back in 2007-2009. I would remind you to use a coin or screwdriver to move the dial from 110 voltage to the 220 voltage for certain countries. I have also heard it is better to keep the power on the lower speed when using the hair dryer with the 220 voltage.

I love the new color of this one I ordered. It is small, foldable and has the styling attachment to connect to the front and it's compact, yet large enough to use during a trip and even every day at home. Save time researching because I already did it for you!! I don't think you will be disappointed with this Revlon foldable dual voltage hair dryer!!

I was in need of a new travel blow dryer when my beloved little Babyliss finally died. My requirements for a travel blow dryer are that it have the voltage adjustment dial, be light weight and preferably fold up for easy packing and most importantly that it packs a punch for its small size. I have long straight hair and blow dryers are must for me everywhere I go. You just never know what hotels will have so I like to be prepared. Plus most hotel blow dryers lack guts and take FOREVER to dry my hair. I'm a bit of a world traveler and I don't take chances anymore. I have now taken this blow dryer to Japan, China, Germany, The Netherlands, Puerto Rico and Thailand and I'm very happy with it! While it's a bit bigger than my baby babyliss, it packs a bit more power as well so it's a trade off. All in all I'm very happy with it and can highly recommend it as a small but powerful blow dryer good for travel or for keeping in a guest bathroom cupboard for guests!

I’m miss picky when it comes to hairdryers and I always travel with my own because hotels and AirBnb’s usuallly have lousy ones. Small, lightweight, and portable are great but that’s not enough — I want power and heat and this does the job! And I require a concentrator attachment and this has a good one. I style my hair with a big round brush when drying it so the concentrator is a must and this one stays on well. Had never fallen off even after hitting my round brush and pressing against it while styling.

Of course it’s not a top of the line professional but I don’t want an expensive hairdryer in my luggage — and I couldn’t believe this dryer worked so well for such a low price. You won’t regret buying this one as a travel dryer. I’m so glad I have my own dryer now when I travel!

As a basic travel hair dryer this works fine, however, I would not recommend it for actual hair styling on the 250V setting, as the "high" button is blocked off and the "cool" button becomes the low button, so there is no longer an actual cool button. That is the reason for the 4 star rating. Otherwise, worked fine in US and Europe, by changing the voltage setting.

I bought this May 21st, 2017 and it now does not work. I'm trying to figure out how to get a hold of Amazon to see if I can get a replacement or refund.....real shame...was good while it lasted.

Update: I got in contact with the company and they sent me a new one right away. Great customer service... Hope this one last longer...I just love this model for some reason. Changing from 1 star to three stars only because I don't know how long it will last.

Final update: still going strong. I must've just got a dud the first time. Really love this dryer.

This is a great hair dryer. To start with, it dries my shoulder-length, thick hair from towel dried to fully dry in under 5 minutes. Its lightweight, compact design is perfect for me for everyday use. While it's marketed as a travel dryer, I have shoulder problems that make it difficult to hold a heavier hair dryer up for very long so I use this lighter model regularly. It keeps me from having extra pain while drying my hair, and even though it's small, it's more powerful than my old hair dryer. Quite a few reviews mentioned that this model is noisy, and I can't disagree with that, but it's a hair dryer; I don't expect it to be silent. I'm willing to deal with the volume of the dryer in exchange for the quicker drying time and lighter weight.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the design of the switch. The rocker-style switch is very tight and difficult to move from one position to another. The off setting is in the middle, and many times when I try to turn it off I either can't move the switch or I bypass off and go to the low setting. If the switch were easier to move this would be a 5-star product.
