True Bragg AC is the best! This one is the wrong type.

Health store-from true Bragg company is darker, complete.

Usually I love this stuff, its absolutely great.

But this time I bought on Amazon from VitaminLife. It came in the mail today; Almost no mother in it and the color is white with a very light cream color. (See video) It's not the real copper color AC as Bragg sells (as shown in the picture on Amazon.) (Video also shows the real product directly from Bragg Farm; note color is darker, correct, and this is after I added a bit of water so it would last until my new order was delivered.)

It looks like someone is taking Bragg AC and watering it down 3X and reselling with their labels or; maybe this is just a accidental bottling at the Bragg Farm or its normal to look like this sometimes? If so, I apologize. If not; investigate this. I will give 4 stars just to be open-minded.

This review in no way represents Patricia Bragg, The Bragg Family and their TRUE Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar that I usually buy directly from Bragg or Health food stores. It healed a bone spur on my foot and helps my neck injury. Will stay with the health food store to be sure am getting from Patricia Bragg Company seller only.

My experience with the true product is; When I mix with raw organic honey I can drink it usually without my stomach being affected. When I cant drink it, I switch to placing it on my skin, soaking my feet or hands in it for a hour. It really gets into the blood! Our skin is a large organ and it does absorb things that are placed upon it and especially if left on the skin for a time. I recently experienced much improvement in a ankle/foot injury.

When I was young, in my middle 30's I worked as a waitress at Vern's Restaurant at the top of the hill in Daly City right on the edge of San Francisco. Beautiful view! (Hi to all you old Italian men and ladies!)

One day as I was walking out the restaurant to go home I saw a family with their dog in the parking lot. A big long haired white dog, collie, wolf maybe. It was in pain, dragging its legs, almost crawling. I asked if the dog was it by a car..? The Mother said No, he has arthritis. I remembered Patricia and Paul Braggs books and the Apple Cider Vinegar cure. I am not sure if animals can eat honey so I told the lady to try the Apple Cider Vinegar and honey too if the vet says ok.

I did not see them for about 2 months. One day at the cash register the family came in the restaurant and the mother stopped and told me her dog was walking normal for the first time is ages; the Apple Cider Vinegar cure worked! The dog loved to drink it.

My neck injury seems to have healed much more since drinking the AC and placing it on my neck, the injured bones, cartilage.

The Braggs state that the AC with honey mixture gets into the bodies arteries... and the blood vessels, capillaries that travel into the joints and eats away at built up plague, calcium deposits... Then the joints are cleaned out and can rebuild. Arthritis cure.

Wow this things so strong in taste i bought a bunch of cranberries and made fresh cranberry juice out of them then i threw 1 tspn of the vinegar and mixed it in that 8 ounce cup of cranberry juice... i still tasted the vinegar tspn with that really bitter cranberry juice ... first day lets see how it works for me ...i lost about 9 lbs with black cumin seed pills... then i stopped taking it.... but after 2 mo ths i gave this thing a shot and day 1 i tok it strictly 3 times before each meal like about half an hr earlier... then i ate as soon as i wasnt feeling bloated to maintain eating less with that water and vinegar consumption and day 2 i took it twice one was before a meal and the other was after. In two days my husband sees that my stomach is going in a little. I cant wait to continue this weight loss challenge!!

Selsun Blue works better for Dandruff/Dry Scalp... However the ACV did help in other ways

Ever since the start of this year & for the past half a year, my scalps condition has continued to worsen, almost every night it has itched like crazy, my hair has even begun to thin a bit, it's nothing notciable once it's dry but after steping out of the shower with sopping wet hair you can see the scalp slightly.

I tried everything that would supposedly help cure me of the condition. Scalp Massage, Combing + conditioning my hair more frequently, using shampoo's without alcohol or sodium lauryl sulfate, putting on a hat when outdoors, drinking more water, washing hair with more cold water... And nothing seemed to help at all.

Unfortunately I had overlooked Apple Cider Vinegar & thought nothing of it. However, desperate & having read more on how it fully restores hair to its former healthy state I purchased a 16oz bottle, shipping was FAST, btw, very content with that, the affordable price & that it doesn't expire for another 5 years. =]

It's now been nearly a month since I begun using the ACV, & overall while my hair isn't thinning any longer, the dandruff & dry scalp continued to persevere. Selsun Blue I found helps to rid of dandruff/dry scalp instantaneously in a couple of days, but still once every week I intend to use the ACV as an alternative shampoo just to switch things up.

IF YOU INTEND TO USE THE ACV TO WASH YOUR HAIR only use once on a weekly basis, if used more then the dandruff/scalp condition will resume as apple cider vinegar contains an acidic material.

However despite the ACV not helping my hair much, I did find it to be of use in many other health aspects. Thankfully as I stated it does help cease thinning hair. I noticed that it trimmed a bit of belly fat from me, so it's a pretty decent weight loss solution. I notice that i'm not obtaining headaches when outside exposed to the sun for a long duration of hours. It serves as a nice energy drink for whenever i'm in need of a boost & I notice myself no longer feeling sick.

I usually tend to consume 2 cups of ACV twice daily. Once in the morning & once in the afternoon as that is when the body is in need of energy the most. Do not drink the ACV on its own as your throat will sting, I advise filling a cup with 1 tablespoon of ACV, filling the rest with water & if desired a teaspoon of baking soda.

Healed my Sciactic Nerve

I bought this product after reading the many positive reviews on here. I bought it because I read that it aided in weight loss (with diet and exercise) and gave great energy. Well I didn't experience the energy nor any change to my weight. However, it did help with my sciactic nerve. I developed this problem during my two pregnancies. My babies laid on the nerve in my lower back and butt and as a result I develop Sciactic nerve pain. Let me tell you, if you've never had it before you are blessed. Its so painful. I would literally be in tears. When I was pregnant with my last child I would lay in the bed and cry because my pain was so bad that I couldn't get up in the mornings. My son is five months now and up until two months ago I continued to have this pain. Then I ordered this apple cider vinegar and I felt relief quickly. I took 1 teaspoon in the morning (two was too strong for me), and the next morning the pain wasn't do bad. The second day, the pain was numb. The third day, the pain was gone! I was shocked and very skeptical so I stopped taking it to see if it was really the cause of my relief and sure enough the pain came back. So I went back to my 1 teaspoon every morning and my pain went away. I used a whole bottle (16oz), which I shared with my husband, and my pain is gone. I haven't bought anymore because I am now pain free. I believe this stuff works differently for everyone but its so worth a try. FYI, I never could drink this stuff in my water, even when adding the suggested honey. I tried to mix it with other drinks and gagged. Finally I took another reviewer 's advice and took it in one shot like I was taking cold medicine. Its strong like pickle and lemon juice mixed up but when taken this way, its over quickly and it doesn't sit on your teeth. Just have a glass of water or juice nearby :-)

This stuff is no joke! I started using this for my facemasks, but little did I know, I would soon be sucked up into a world of homeopathic health.

This apple cider vinegar is good for you because it is unpasteurized, and maintains a lot of the good bacteria necessary for fighting off pathogens. It tastes awful, but those bacteria actually consume sugar, and vinegar (and alcohol, depending on the bacteria) is the byproduct of the sugar breakdown. So, once it goes into your body, the good bacteria eats all the sugar before the bad bacteria can get to it, multiply, and hurt you. It's great!

***Good Bacteria, Lactose Intolerance, Immune Health, and Kombucha***
That being said, as I was doing research and getting more into it, I realized that unpasteurized apple cider vinegar is not the only way to get these good bacteria. I am lactose intolerant, so I learned early on that I couldn't take probiotics without getting sick from the lactobacillus, but I started drinking kombucha (another host of good bacteria that eats sugars in tea) without knowing that it can contain up to 30% lactobacillus bacteria.
I didn't get sick! Since then, I've started drinking organic milk, and realized that much of my lactose intolerance was likely a product of pasteurization and processing, because I don't get sick with unpasteurized products!

Not only have I experienced health improvement with good bacteria and lactose intolerance, but it has also helped me to rid myself of MRSA. Kombucha has a living, evolving population of good bacteria, meaning it can often times out-evolve MRSA bacteria that have evolved resistance to unchanging antibiotic compounds in pills.

Unexpected Results from a Great Apple Cider Vinegar

I was a skeptic, but a friend told me to take two teaspoons twice a day in some water (sweeten to taste if needed). Her A1C came down 5 points after one month. I don't have diabetes, but I thought if it could do that, it might help other things. I tried it for a week and really couldn't believe what happened. I had more energy, not Red Bull energy, but just a lack of lethargy that I hadn't had in months. I was also sleeping more deeply, my IBS had calmed down, and when I take it before a meal, I fill up faster.

Again, I'm a skeptic, so after a few weeks, I went off of it for a week. The lethargy came back, I wasn't sleeping as deeply, and right away my IBS was back with a vengeance. I went back on it after a week off and within a few days, I saw the same results that I originally found. I was a little worried about it being too acidic and it would aggravate my heartburn, but I found I don't have to take antacids as often.

I'm not sure of the long term effects, but it's nice right now. I like the BRAGG brand because the vinegar is clear at the top (yellow, but clear) and there is a lot of the "mother" at the bottom. Be sure to shake it up before using. I tried another brand and didn't like it as well. This brand is more costly, but it's worth it in my mind.

I mixed with water to lose 20+ pounds

After a friend of mine lost over 40 pounds I asked how she did it. She did it using the Bragg's apple cider vinegar, putting 2 tbsp. into a glass of water each morning before eating breakfast and drank it and by just watching portion sizes. I decided to do the same. Well in less than a month and a half I've lost close to 20 pounds and I've tightened my belt by more than an inch. I put 2 tbsp. of this into a glass of water the first thing in the morning drink then eat 2 boiled eggs and one slice of low carb no high fructose corn syrup toast. And I eat a large salad and a couple boiled eggs and about 3 oz cheese for lunch and I use a portion plate for my dinner so I can eat with the family. Drinking the vinegar and water really does help me to not get food cravings during the day. I was also diagnosed as being insulin resistant with PCOS. Metformin made me so sick so I stopped taking it long ago. After I started this I starting being regular as well and later I read that apple cider vinegar actually helps with insulin resistance. I want to say I'm not a doctor and the way I've lost weight may not work for others. I can just speak for myself that this is a God send, I hate working out and I didn't think I'd ever be able to lose weight being 40. With the portion control and the ACV it really words. I still have about 20 more pounds to lose get to my ideal happy weight, but I'm very confident I will get there with the continued help of this ACV.

We use ACV for tons of things in our attempt to lead all natural “chemical free” lifestyles as much as possible. ACV can be used for cleaning, skin soothing, hair washing, laundry, recipes, digestive health... the list is long!

We use a couple diff brands for diff things (yeah we’re that fanatical about ACV) We use this more for recipes like herbal teas and remedies. We use a pasteurized version that’s cheaper for cleaning cuz we don’t want the enzymes to continue activating on a surface long after. But this Braggs we use for laundry, skin after showers or in baths, teas, cooking (keep in mind heating this may kill the beneficial things in raw ACV so we usually add it after cooking), or even just to drink in some lemon water as a daily supplement. It’s great for adding probiotics or to use along with probiotics.

We use Braggs for our Kombucha and fermented brewing which we found makes a huge difference. But this stuff is strong! It’s stronger than the cheap store pasteurized versions, so keep that in mind.

But we will always keep this stuff on hand along with raw honey, cuz it just comes in handy for so much.

Blood Pressure and Diabetes

35 year old male with high blood pressure and diabetes. I've been trying all sorts of supplements out there but nothing seemed to work. Finally, I decided to see what all the hype was about with ACV. Started taking a tspn at night with lemon, spring water and honey. My blood pressure was mostly 140 over 90 with the lower number fluctuating higher or lower at time.

It's been two weeks and my blood pressure now surprisingly averages 117 over 77. At first my wife thought the bp monitor was broken so she took hers and she got her normal reading.

I've not yet seen how it has affected my type 2 diabetes but I'm not on any medication and will be getting lab work done in 10 days so I'm praying and hoping this is a cure all.

In regards to my physique I'm not overweight but I also seem unable to find time to exercise with work and two babies. I do plan on improving my diet and begin exercising within the next month.

Will provide an update in regards to the effect of ACV on my blood sugar when I get back my results. Staying positive and hoping for the best.

I know ACV is the new 'wonder drug' for everything but I take it before a heavy meal to avoid acid reflux later. I was taking 3-4 pills a day for the reflux (I'm in my 30s with no other health issues) and stopped taking them completely because they were actually PREVENTING me from properly digesting food. Taking ACV before a meal helps 'prepare' my stomach acids to digest the food I'm about to eat so it doesn't linger and come back up when I'm trying to lie down to sleep. Obviously that's not a proper medical explanation, but it's how I understand it for me. At first I took a shot with every dinner. Now I take about 1/3 shot and fill up shot glass with water (straight ACV will erode your tooth enamel) only before certain meals. No more tums or pills!
