The material in the book is useful, but it is not much different from a number of other books. I was hoping that the six-word lessons would be an catchy way to remember some unique and helpful information, but they do not. They are more like six word sentences that cover some basic and useful information. I was looking for something with a bit more inspiration, but did not find it here.
I purchased several of Debbie's books as gifts for my team of Cookie Lee Jewelry Consultants. Debbie's advice is simple, practical and oh-so-useful! I love the format of the Six-Word Lessons as I can pick up the book anytime, anywhere and in 10 seconds receive a "tip-for-the-day" which helps me refocus on the important tasks at hand. I've read it straight through several times, but find that it is even more effective for me to pick out just one or two tips to concentrate on at a time. I've participated in Debbie's GO System Seminar and know that she is definitely someone who walks the talk when it comes to organization! If we all applied even a few of these principles in her Six-Word Lessons to Be More Productive, our lives would be less stressful and more enjoyable. Thank you, Debbie, for putting together such a practical and useful tool!
Organization is key in anyone's life, be it business or home. Debbie's 100 tips for increasing productivity are easy to understand and easy to implement. I provided this book to my staff this holiday season--not to call them out for being unproductive, but to motivate them to take the initiative to simplify their work and home lives. Hopefully this will leave them happier, healthier, less-stressed, and yes, even more productive.
