A lot of gold out there isn't "gold" colored. But it can be detected by your metal detector. This eBook tells you how to systematically determine where it is, identify it, and collect it.
This book is unique relative to other gold prospecting how-to books due to the enormous amount of practical, easy-to-understand information included in the book. The book is packed with high quality photographs of actual gold and gold-mineral specimens as they appear in the field to help the reader with identification under real-life prospecting conditions in the field!

After reading various forums and reviews this was my very first detector. The only reason I say don't buy it is because it's so good and I don't want the competition. It's light and easy to use even for a first timer like I was. Just set it up according to the easy to understand manual and get after it. I live in Colorado where the soil is highly mineralized so I went with the high frequency 18.75 coil. Depending on where you plan to hunt you might be better off with the medium coil instead. For a mid level detector you can't beat it, 5 stars from me.
