hazelnuts are hard to find, hazelnut butter even harder ..raw even harder! This is the BEST nut butter period. The chunkiness is reminiscnet of chunky PB but with a much better nutrition profile (Low OMEGA 6) and low starch content. Off the spoon or mixed with chocolate is amazing as well as spread on bread

I recently came back to the US from living abroad for a couple years. While overseas I had access to the most delicious hazelnut butter ever at our local organic store.

This is good, and a very high quality product, but I find that the variety of hazelnuts used doesn't seem to taste as good to me as some of their European cousins. I've tried a few other varieties of hazelnut butters here in the US but honestly have not found one as good as what is available overseas. That said, I've found a few here in the US that match my taste better (are closer to European hazelnuts in taste) than this. As an example, I could recommend buying from Blue Mountain Organics if your taste in hazelnuts is similar to mine.
