Strong, Light, Cheap

I use this with my Sony a6000 in order to mount vintage lenses and it works great! The metal feels very strong and while it doesn't have some features of more expensive adapters like a tripod mount or electronic controls, those aren't things I was looking for; I wanted something light, strong, and inexpensive, and that's exactly what this is.

Nicely made adapter except that I had to file down the edge of one of the mounting flanges in order to get the lens release catch to seat.

I have used 8 Fotodiox adapters to fit the following lenses onto my Sony Alpha 7R: 20mm f/2.8 Nikkor AF, 24mm f/2.8 Nikkor AIS, 35mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Distagon, 50mm f/1.4 CZ Planar, 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor, 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor, 105mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor AIS and 35-100mm f/2.8 Konica Hexanon Varifocal AR. They produce outstanding pictures through this legacy glass, some which I've used as a commercial photographer in the 60s, 70s and 80s! They have literally saved me thousands of dollars and allowed ingrained shooting instincts to remain, because I have been using the same lenses so long. I'm not having to work around the time it takes to intimately learn the operations and characteristics of new lens designs.
Time is money and I'm not getting any younger!

The adapter looks and feels good. It also fits the NEX camera well, but it does not have a precision fit on the lens. I have four Konica Hexanon lenses, sloppy fit on each one. One of them won't latch, it un screws when the aperture ring is adjusted.

The adapter is lite weight even considering the tripod mount. It is definitely smaller (shorter from mount edge to mount edge) than the adapters I have for Canon and Minolta. I had some very nice Konica Hexanon lenses from my Konica FT1 that I wanted to keep. This adapter worked great on my Sony alpha 6000. The fit and finish is very good. A nice feature is the tripod mount on the bottom side of the adapter. Since the Sony a6000 is a very light camera body, adding the older lenses shift most of the weight forward. The tripod mount helps to balance the weight distribution better.You have to change settings in the a6000 to use the old lenses, but it is easy to do. Easily worth the price.
