This is one of Italy's best coffees and I've tried them all. It is good in automatics, French press and especially my favorite boiled coffee. It forms up thick and nicely and smells great. You don't need to wait for it to settle to enjoy the fine settled taste of it, you can drink it right away. If you are searching for another kind of coffee to go along with your regular brand, or to impress your friends and family, I recommend this first. It goes with breakfast, lunches, dinners or any kind of cakes and pastries.
Hence: they also make espresso coffee under this brand and I am only recommending the ground coffee. I know nothing about expressos.
