Perfect for mini cupcakes. I made Elmo minis for my daughter’s preschool class for her birthday. Please note that Teflon coated products contain a fluorocarbon called C8 or PFOA and are highly toxic; use foil liners to minimize exposure.

Don't buy this from Amazon

I have finally learned my lesson. Do not buy things from Amazon. You think that you are getting a brand name for a deal and when it arrives it is in terrible shape. This Wilton mini muffin tin came bent and the coating was chipping off of the tin. I do not trust using it with the potential of more coating chipping off into the baked goods. I do not mean to give Wilton a bad rating, I just want to warn people to unhook from Amazon. The convenience is NOT worth the number to times I am shipped shoddy products.

Difficult to clean, rusts

Rusts very easily. I ended up throwing it away because of the rust. Difficult to clean. Sticks a lot, and then having to clean out each individual cup and it's still dirty is frustrating at times. After about 5 uses, the "non-stick" surface is chipping off and go along apart.

This is not a convenient item to have. It is very poor quality. It doesn't hold up to more than a couple uses.

If you get this item, get the disposable mini cupcake liners to go with it.

What I baked:
Cupcakes with cupcake mix, mini quiche cups, egg muffins.

These were ok. I ended up liking the Wilton pans that are only available at Target. Here's what gets me... where you get them matters. They have different designs at all of the major stores, including Amazon, and each one performs slightly different from the next. The ones from Target are a little heavier, and the ends are rounded differently, so they fit different in the oven, and we think that may be part of the performance differences. They still work, and the differences are minimal.

Overall, I love the pan. It's the second one I bought in less than a month. But, the pan should have been wrapped or boxed instead of just stuck in a thin mailing envelope without any protection. This could have been scratched and/or damaged during shipping. I bought one prior to this and it came in a box and was protected.

I wasn’t so much paying attention to the quantity of mini muffins this would provide in one batch- pleasantly surprised! It’s just slightly larger than a normal muffin pan, so it takes up a tad more space. But, the Wilson brand is always reliable! In my experience, their products last for years, even with heavy use.

I’ve moved so much I misplaced my prior pans. These are priced appropriately. They’re very sturdy & entirely non-stick. You really do not need to use cooking spray, liners or anything because nothing sticks! They cool rather quickly & are a breeze to wash, even by hand. Having used them several times now, I’m not getting any residue sticking, scratches/scrapes or compromise. Consistent & trusted in my book! Well worth the investment for very affordable, decent bakeware.

Deterioration of nonstick coating

This is heavy and so far hasn't warped at all. The nonstick surface is working perfectly. I'm sure the nonstick aspect will fade, as all nonstick products do, but for this price I would happily replace the worn-out ones with this exact same product. And it goes without saying that the mini-muffin format ROCKS for just about everything including bacon-cheese-tomato stacks.

Update three months later - I'm changing my review from 5 to 1 stars. I've used the pan maybe ten times, and the nonstick coating is coming off big-time, and what's under it is rusting. I'm assuming it's because my appetizers generally have some fresh tomato in them and the acid is the cause.

I don't know yet if other brands will withstand the tomato better, but I'll be looking.

non stick mini muffin pan

I had one of these - same brand and everything - accidentally let go of it in a donation purge... so, here I am again. The old one was 12 spot.. so I upgraded to the 24. I don't use it that often but every once in a while, you need the mini pan. You can make mini cupcakes of course... but then there are mini omelet bakes, mini pecan pralines (use foil liners with this one), mini jello bites, fudge etc.... the non stick is great, but FYI - NO dishwasher - always wash non stick by hand. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful!
