My teammates and I used several of these headsets for a Chump Car enduro race at Road Atlanta this past December. We were able to hook them up to a Motorola radio and had in-car communication with our team in the pits. We had no problems hearing the pits with these earpieces - very good volume and the sound quality was pretty good. However, I'm thinking the mic isn't good quality as we had difficulty in hearing the driver when they were on track. We kept the windscreens on the mics and had these placed in full face helmets, but it seemed like there was a lot of background noise transmitted by these headsets to pits. If they have problems with our in-car environment, I'm not sure how they can be any better in the more open motorcycle environment. Couldn't complain based on the price of them, though.

I am stuck with 2 of these. There are NO Motorola FRS GMRS radios that use the 2 pin connector. So these units are not really for your average motorcycle rider. The "cover their ass" statement about looking at your radio is BS. Their plug in looks just like the midland 2 pin, but it is not the same size. Total waste of money, and these were for a Veteran charity effort. Really sad.

I belong to an atv club and most of us use this product. It works great with Midland radios, is easy to install and use.
it helps us when turning corners on an unmarked trail, autos or some thing in the road, alerts to wild animals, or just
easy conversations. We all love this product. Bobbie Duke

Do not buy this unit if you have a cobra radio, The pins are just a little to close together to fit right, You can hear but when you transmit all you get are garbage..

These are nice and seem to work OK, but we prefered the older style with the stick-on mike for the full face helmets.
