I've tried a lot of lens adaptors and most of them have been too tight. This one fits perfectly. If you're unsure about the price, keep in mind that what you're paying for is a well-manufactured adaptor. If you're attaching lenses that are worth hundreds or thousands of dollars, I think it's worth the extra money to get something that connects correctly. I also have the Novoflex adaptors for converting M and EF lenses to Sony E Mount cameras, and they fit perfectly, as well.

Keep in mind that this adaptor does not do autofocus.

Entirely wasted money - not a single shot in acceptable focus

I have captured several dozen frames with Nikon glass on an X-E1 using this adapter. Not a single shot was in acceptable focus. None. I tried my darnedest to focus properly using the latest Fuji focus peaking. What appeared perfectly in focus during peaking shifted out of focus when the shutter release was half pressed, appearing this way in the finished capture.

Aperture control was so crude as to be useless. Stopping down afforded only marginally better sharpness at considerable loss of speed.

This was wasted, wasted money. Duct tape strapping your Nikon lens to an X body will be just as effective and less costly.

Caveat emptor. Wish I could get my money back.

Style: Fuji-X Mount Body

When this adapter is used according to the instructions and each lens used is set-up properly on the Fujifilm X body, it works on any Nikon lens. The very best results come by mounting Nikon's wonderful AI-S Manual focus lenses or "D" lenses because they have aperture rings so the aperture can be set on the lens and not on the guess-work, un-marked aperture ring on the adapter. Having said that I have had excellent results with the 50mm f1.8G and 35mm f1.8G lenses by simply setting the Novoflex ring in the middle of the range. I have even used the monster 300mm f4 lens with this adapter on my X-E2, but the longer the focal length, the harder focusing becomes. I would recommend not using Nikon's cheaper zoom lenses. Prime lenses simply work better and because of the excellent focus ring action on the AI-S lenses such as the 50mm f1.4, the 55mm f2.8 micro nikkor, the 105mm f2.5 and the 180mm f2.8, precision focus is more easily attained. I have also used Zeiss manual focus lens such as the 28mm f2 ZF, 25mm f2 ZF and the 50mm Makro Planar f2 ZF with excellent results. Using high quality manual focus lenses makes the whole shooting experience a pleasure and the precise focusing of these lenses will yield stunning results in the right hands.

The cons: Though this adapter is a precision tool, it still seems a bit over-priced and the lens release button is small, and definitely not easy on the fingers to operate (thus the 4 stars)

【使用感】
私の場合、CanonのEOS40DにNikonのGタイプレンズを取り付ける為に購入しました。
順番としては、NikonのGタイプレンズに本製品を先に取り付けてから、EOSのマウント部にレンズを取り付けます。
NikonのGタイプレンズに本製品を取り付ける際にかなり固く感じますが、これは、ガタが殆ど発生しない絶妙な寸法で
設計されている為であり、一瞬戸惑いますが、落ち着けば装着は可能です。
絞りレバー（青色の部分）の操作もかなり固めであり、指が少々当たった程度でズレたりすることはありません。
撮影中に絞りが勝手に変化すると困るので、固めの方が良いのかもしれませんが、絞りの微妙な操作を
行いたい場合には、やや操作性が良くないと感じました。

【製品の価格について】
他社製の製品よりも高めの価格設定となっていますが、これでも発売開始当時の価格（税込￥36750円）と比較し、
かなりの値下げが行われています。価格に見合うだけの価値があると判断したので思い切って購入した訳ですが、
それでもやはり高価に感じます。もう少し価格を下げて頂きたいものです。

This is a great product that allows you to use your Nikon F mount lenses on a Canon EF mount camera body. For many people there may be very few occasions that call for you to do this. For my part I have been shooting Nikon’s for several years but I also dabble in Astrophotography. Canon cameras are ubiquitously modified for Astronomy where as Nikon’s are a trickier prospect. The upshot of this is that I own an Astro-modified Canon but I have a collection of Nikon lenses hence my need to mount Nikon lenses on a Canon camera body.

This adapter is really well made from high grade components. There is nothing that feels cheap about it and it feels like top quality aircraft grade aluminium. The fit is such that the focal plane remains close to the sensor so the APSC crop factor remains the same. The aperture can be manipulated very easily using the blue slider but, so far as I’m aware, the cheaper options do not allow you to do this; i have read that it’s either fully open or closed.

All in all I’m really impressed with this and would recommend it based on quality and usability. My only caveat, hence the four stars instead of five, is that it’s expensive! This is close to £150 and I personally think that’s a bit steep. However, I have 9 Nikon lenses and this adapter is a whole lot cheaper than buying a collection of Canon lenses.

Finally a word of CAUTION - this adapter can only really be used in manual mode. There is no electrical connection between the camera and lens so autofocus will not work. If you are not comfortable setting your exposure, focus and aperture manually this probably will not work for you.

Der Adapter passt perfekt auf meine A7II und die Nikon Objektive passen auch super drauf. Die Verarbeitung ist super.

Der Verschlussknopf ist etwas mühsam zu bedienen, aber das kann ich verschmerzen.

Einziges Manko: Der Blendenring lässt sich von Anschlag zu Anschlag leider nur 12mm drehen, was die Einstellung der Blende etwas fummelig werden lässt. Ich behelfe mir mit dem Belichtungsmesser. Wenn mein Objektiv eine maximale Blende von z.B. 2 hat und ich gern Blende 4 einstellen würde, gehe ich so vor: Ich stelle die Kamera auf Blendenvorwahl (A) und ziele in eine Richtung, in der sich die Belichtungszeit nicht groß ändert (z.B. 1/500). Dann drehe ich den Blendenring, bis die Belichtungszeit sich verdoppelt hat (in diesem Fall 1/250). Dann weiß ich, dass ich in etwa eine ganze Blende abgeblendet habe (hier von 2 auf 4). Brauche ich Blende 8 drehe ich weiter bis 1/125 usw...

Für den Fall, dass man bei der Bearbeitung noch wissen will, auf welcher Blende man fotografiert hat, kann man sich ein paar Kärtchen mit den Blendenwerten beschriften und abfotografieren, bevor man die eigentlichen Bilder macht.

Vielleicht hilft das ja dem ein oder anderen. Ich komme mit der Methode recht gut klar, würde mir aber für eine zukünftige Version einen deutlich (!) längeren Einstellweg und eine Rasterung wünschen. Dann würde ich den Adapter vielleicht sogar nochmal kaufen.

Les objectifs à monture Nikon E ne fonctionnent pas avec cette bague (un autre modèle est prévu à cet effet) sinon toutes les optiques, avec ou sans bague de diaph. fonctionnent sans perte de qualité. Dommage que les infos d'objectif ne soient pas transmises au boitier. Cette bague permet d'utiliser bon nombre d'objectifs Nikon sur un boitier à monture T sans investir dans du matériel Leica ou compatible M pour un usage occasionnel.
