I credit Sertodo and Amazon for my copper addiction. If you are looking for a top shelf paella pan, there is no way you can go wrong with this product. Unlike a lot of the other products out there, this pan is hand made and being so, the slight imperfections make it even more awesome. I have all three sizes and beyond using them for paella they are great for serving, cooking other items, etc.
But, the 15" is truly the king. We cook with it outside on our weber charcoal grill and it's PERFECT. It makes for a super cool, social, experience.
Is it pricey. YUP. Nice things are. But if you can swing it...totally go for it!

I like the look of it, but used it one time, it is hard to clean and also even with just paper towel and warm soppy water, I felt the tin lining is coming off.

After one use, I returned it and bought another stainless steel lined Mauviel copper Paella Pan instead. However, they deduct 30% restocking fee. It is almost $300 total and I am losing $100 for one use. What is most ridiculous is that this “restocking fee” policy is no where to be found in the description. I get is it is a small business, what I don’t get it is not to be up front about it. I might well not purchase it from the get go or might decided to keep it. This is just not a honest way to treat customer.

Made Valencian Paella with this pan and came out perfect. Heats evenly, cooks great, and works perfectly if you are hoping to get the coveted Socarrat. Love this pan, makes me want to throw more parties just to show it off. Pricey yes, but will last your lifetime and an heirloom to hand down. America has enough trash, buy something that will last!
Take care of it, wash by hand, dry it thoroughly after cleaning and it will last. If that is too hard to understand, buy the $25 pan. The bad reviews are people who watch too much reality cooking shows and think they are chefs because they bought a chef jacket or a toque. Good pans and knifes are family members, treat them well, give love not laziness.

Simmering the rabbit and chicken as I type this! What a lovely pan simply to look at. Once on the burner, it’s quality is such that the meats hardly stick to it, which is a testament in its own right. The handles too, are quite resistant to heat, which is another sign of a good quality pan.
Very happy with it thus far.

This really is a gorgeous pan but beware of the one currently offered as a warehouse deal. What they are describing as cosmetic damage is actually gouges in the tin lining that go all they way through to the copper. It was described as undamaged when I bought it, so they have at least updated the description after I returned it.

Beautiful pan! I made paella for 12 and this pan was perfect. It distributed heat across the bottom very well so that no area was overcooked. And serving in such a beautiful pan was a show stopper. You could easily cook paella for 6 and up to 18 in this pan.

The Sertodo Alicante Paella Pan is beautifully made and the pan is quite sturdy. The copper distributes heat well. It occupies a prominent place in our kitchen because we love the look of it. In our opinion it was a worthwhile investment because it's both functional and attractive. It goes beautifully with the "Tuscan" theme of our kitchen.
