I purchased 2 of these knives a year apart. I really liked the one I purchased 2/2017, it was sharp and cut well, so I ordered one more in 2/2018. However, a few months ago, the non stick coating (?I think that's what it's called), has peeled off quite a bit on both of them. I recall the packaging saying dishwasher safe so I don't think it should be peeling like that. Sometimes when I cut butter or cheese with the knife it leaves black specks on it.
I do wash the knives on the upper top knife rack about half the time, and hand wash a lot of the time as well. The 2nd knife began peeling within a few months, didn't take an entire year this time, so it's a bit odd. I'm not sure how to return but I definitely would like to do that.
