NOT EASY TO USE!

One positive & 3 negatives for this “silicone ice cream bar mold” as it is described.
Positive: 1. it is food grade silicone, made in Italy.
Negatives: 1. Once each stick is positioned, there is NO SEAL around where the TINY popsicle sticks go through the TINY ice cream bar mold part.
So the liquid LEAKS out & dribbles down into the freezer before the pops start to freeze, creating a mess to be cleaned up each time.
If each mold is filled with less liquid so level drops below the ‘leak point”, there is not enough liquid in the mold to cover the stick & make a secure stick-within-the-bar-meld.
2. No rigid lid to cover the pops, so the surfaces are EXPOSED to casual ‘contamination’ while freezing.
3. No rigid underlying support. The soft & flexible mold is very difficult to transport from the counter & put in the freezer.
It BENDS and the contents then SPILL over the edges of the molds.
Even if a plate or a tray is used, when mold is slid off to position in freezer It is so flexible that it spills.
Unfortunately these were purchased just prior to & anticipation of our Indian Summer. By the time we had opportunity to use the molds, the Amazon return window had closed.
Therefore this product review is to ALERT other potential buyers of some ISSUES to consider prior to actual purchase.
