Surprisingly not as good as the Hershey's for cocoa

The Ghiradelli name is world famous for quality chocolate. I've been on a keto diet so use unsweetened chocolate for my evening cocoa that I can sweeten myself. I ordered a box of Ghiradelli cocoa while I still had the Hershey's around to do a side by side taste test. Frankly it's good, but I like the Hershey's better, at least for my drink. I also like he basic Hershey's cocoa better than Hershey's "Special Dark" cocoa. Could be just me, but if I like the less expensive cocoa better how can I argue?

Great source of extra vitamins at low calories

Good taste as one would expect from this brand, packs in extra vitamins to coffee (which is how I use it). Blends well but leaves some residue in the cup. Don't drink milk so can't comment on how well it mixes with dairy. Flavour is deep and smoky, no sweetness. Low calorie.

This is the 1st time I've bought & used Ghirardelli Chocolate Unsweetened Cocoa in baking. I thought it was better than the cocoa I've bought in the grocery store before. I've bought other brands of cocoa since & will also try those in baking to see which is preferable. Ghirardelli Cocoa is very good..

The product itself is great. The packaging is awful. The resealable zip lock at the top is practically useless because the powder is so extremely fine is gets in the groove making it almost impossible to reclose. Annoying.

This is a very good cocoa, but a little on the expensive side. I did not notice much improvement in my chocolate cakes baked with it. Will have to try the same recipe with one of my other cocoas and decide if I should continue using this one or go back to one of the others I get from King Arthur.
