I ordered this online because I wanted hulled barley, but what I received is pearled barley -- the appearance, texture, taste, nutritional information, and cooking instructions are the same as pearled barley I can buy at Safeway for a lot cheaper price.
I do recommend true hulled barley as it retains more of the outer husk than pearled barley and is healthier (more fiber, lower glycemic index). But that is not what this product is. They should sell it as organic pearled barley.
