Beautiful! Exactly what i expected!

I read a lot of negative reviews on this item so I wanted to be sure to clarify WHAT this item is and is not. It is a chime candle, often used for spell work and is 4" tall. It will not fit in a standard candle holder if that is what you are looking for, but you can buy candle holders for this size candle. It is, buy no means, as small as a birthday candle or anywhere near the size of a birthday candle, as some reviews have stated. I would, in no way, want something so large on my cake, thank you!
I also wanted to address the complaints of the candles being overly oily and problems with colors running together. My shipment came in early May, when temperature's are still mild. I did not have a problem with colors running together, and the feel of the candles was not oily in my opinion.
I hope this review is helpful when considering your purchase of these candles. I will be purchasing these candles from this seller again. Enjoy!

HORRIBLE!!

Horrible! My pictures don't show how bad these are, but let me explain...
* There is no white: You get two yellow, because the white candle is really beige.
* No black: It is not black but a dark purple... see the tip where the cotton blends the true color and it is totally purple.
* Some came broken in the middle
* Other colors are stained by the neighboring candle... see the red candle.
* Weak colors: Green is too pale compared with my Mega candles, pink is a little violet, violet is supposed to be dark but you a very light color instead.
* Horrible paper packing that doesn't allow for any protection to keep the integrity of the candles
*No, we are not in summer yet and I brought them with Prime, so two-day shipping... no excuses for candles being affected by weather, etc

I am returning these and buy the Mega candles set. I have individual colors of Mega candles, but I am looking for a simple all colors set.

The product description does state that the colors may vary, however it also states that the size of the candles would be 1/2 diameter by 4 inches. The candles I received had a base measuring 1/2 inch, but after 1/4 of an inch they tapered down to about 5/16 in diameter, and only stand 3 1/2 inches tall. The picture shown on the website shows candles that are the same diameter from bottom to top, these are nothing like what is shown and resemble birthday cake candles more than anything.

Fake Photo and Fake Description

These are not spell/chime candles - not sure what they are. Photo shows ten different colors and are described as "High Quality 4" Chime Spell Candles. Imported from Germany they are 4" H x .5"D." Candles received are 1/4" diameter and 3" tall with a strange base. Colors received were 5 green, 6 yellow, 13 bright orange, and 16 hot pink. These were not from Germany, but from India. Originally thought I received wrong item, but seller confirmed this was the correct item and said the limited colors were due to busy factory during holidays. Seller did give refund including shipping, and told me to keep the items rather than returning. My attached photo has a white spell/chime candle (bottom center) for comparison with what was actually received.

Bad Quality - These Used to be Better

The first time I purchased these candles (a couple years ago) they were great! The candles I purchased THIS time are completely different. First of all, the new candles are very transparent, the old candles were opaque and bold-colored. Second, the new candles wicks are in DIAGONALLY! This makes me wonder how stable the candle will be while burning. Third, the new candles have a disgusting sticky residue all over them and are covered in pieces of an unknown substance. Fourth, the packaging is unsatisfactory - they have obviously been returned before, having been re-taped shut, and there are pieces of hair stuck to the tape packaging. Will be returning after recording a review video to compare the differences. Very disappointed, LadyRobyn, and will not be ordering from your company again.

The candles I received look nothing like the ones in the photo. I received two cardboard boxes with the most low quality candles I've ever seen. I have seen better quality at the dollar store. There are no red candles, or brown, which these sets usually contain. When you do color work, it's generally understood that a set of candles will not include silver or gold, but will have black, brown, white, purple, blue, green, red, orange, and yellow. There are also twice as many blues and purples than other colors.

The wicks are cheap and frayed. The surfaces of the candles are scratched up. And there are major shade inconsistencies. I have posted photos.

I will use these, because I did pay for them, but I will not be purchasing from this seller again.

I didn't get what was shown in the pic at all. I got a bunch of flourescent cheap looking candles. Mostly useless. I wouldn't buy these. I feel ripped off. Didn't not get what was shown.

I didn't read the reviews until after I had already made my purchase so I was actually really worried I had wasted money. Luckily though the candles I received are EXACTLY like the photos advertised and were a great deal. It was really hot the day mine were delivered and I had no issues with melting. The candles were perfect. I highly recommend!

Not for spells!!

The energy from the candles were way off, and this has never happened to me before. Usually Candles I have brought (from my local shop) I would always cleanse before using anyway as a precaution, but I never got an eerie feeling from them. But when I opened the box to these candles before even really looking at the detail. I was overwhelmed with sadness, feeling exhausted, pain and anger. I could see like a sweat shop of some kind. After I really looked at the candles I could see why. Candles look horrible, there was a strand of hair melted into a candle as well. Just take a look at the photos, the candle wick is horrible most not even twisted or braided. Definitely will be returning and just sticking to buying candles from my local shop, this was my first time and last time I’ll buy candles for spell work online, especially from Amazon. This is my just my personal experience with the order I received. Just take precaution when buying these candles. I was planning to use for personal light work but I don’t even feel comfortable with that. They do have a nice smell to them.

You get what you pay for

This product would never make it past inspection in my store. Don't get me wrong, they are useable. Quality wise they are lacking. Candles came not in a tray, but loose in a small box that was taped together. A few of the candles were broken, all the white candles have color bleed on them from adjacent candles. There is no uniformity in color. Some of the blues almost look green. The greens look like puke.The colors look blotched, as though the wax and colorant were not mixed and melted right. I might be wrong, but the candles look like they were home made and shaped in a crayon mold. Which is fine, and pretty genius I think. But overall, it was sloppy. Then again, you get what you pay for.
