Lately I have been on the binge of buying steel pans. I bought a few French made and a few Chinese made. Dollar for dollar this pan from China wins hands down. Well constructed, heavier gauge blue steel. Riveted, solid, light enough. I know I almost sound like the advertising man, but this little pan is worth every penny. Deep at 3 + inches, wide at top of 8 inches and cooking surface of 5 + inches.. If you are needing a small pan, consider this one, with proper seasoning, your grand children will be thankful to you for this one.

Perfect shape and size but terrible quality!

I've had this wok for about 2 months now and I love it's size, shape and the sturdy handle. Too bad the insides have started to chip and peel away, forcing me to throw it out and look for a better quality product here on amazon. I bought another, larger wok from the same seller and as that one is doing well, was hopeful that this one would be as good, in spite of the other reviewers comments warning otherwise. I have used this wok everyday, sometimes twice for these 2 months and always on a low to medium flame, hand washed and dried right away. I'm hoping to get a replacement in the exact dimensions but better quality!

Just took van to Baja for surfing and used this a bit ( I took out the ring bolt and replaces with straight as I don't hang these) now I want to find a lid so I can use this for cooking pasta as well, great lil wok so far !

Update: first trip 2 week no issues. THis trip now 2 weeks into it and the coating has started to flake off. So now this is a rust bucket ! So beware longterm the coating is junk, now 100% useless!

Non-Stick Coating Doesn't Last

I purchased the 14" wok in June of 2016. It was the perfect size, and we used it frequently for veggie stir fry. It worked great for the last 1.5 years, but last night I washed it after dinner and noticed the non-stick coating flaking off. I always used a plastic spatula for cooking and a soft sponge for cleaning. I suppose it lasted a decent amount of time for the price...Just know that you will have to buy a new wok every year or so if you decide to go with this one. I'm on the search for a better quality this time.

As others said, the non stick is really bad. Would say it isn’t very safe for that reason. Also it is super heavy which I consider a good thing but amazon asked me to rate its “lightweight” quality and it is certainly not that.

Purchased this gift for my husband because he loves cooking fried rice, but we didn't have the correct pan and he was always making a huge mess on the stovetop. This pan is large enough to get the job done, but also stores well because it is not "too large" to store. It keeps a steady heat without hotspots like some cookware.

These aren't exactly top of the line cookware. That being said, you'd be hard-pressed to truly know the difference without some long time experience in the kitchen. This 8inch wok can be a difficult item to find and obtain. Remember to treat item or items with proper care and you'll have them for a long while to come. Then again, said sentiment is useful in just about any application. 'em-I-right?! Bueller...

Bad for Health - the Coat Came Off

After two months of using it, I am already throwing it away. The non-stick coat slowly peeled off by small pieces and will blend into my dishes. It is absolutely a big failure in product quality.
