The pan I received had a mediocre lid that wasn't well finished. It should have never made it through quality control. There were 3 wavy spots around where the handle attaches to the lid cover and a spot where the metal was not completely smooth. Also the pan itself had an uneven grind/polish at the edge of one side of the pan. I own several All Clad pieces, only 1 have I had an issue with. It was a copper core piece that delaminated after my second use, which I included pictures of. the inside layer delaminated, but the bottom was fine, go figure? After a lengthy process, All Clad replaced it. Their customer service people are not very welcoming on the phone. I am thankful that they honored their warranty however and deemed that piece defective and sent me a replacement. ALL of my other All Clad pieces have been amazing over the years, with no warping whatsoever. If you buy a piece of All Clad, look it over for any flaws when you buy it. If you get a pretty one, you will enjoy using it for a very long time.
