My third set of Rachel Ray (It's a good thing!)

This is my third set of Rachel Ray cookware. I cook daily so I wear them out! A set usually lasts me 3+ years. I have tried Cuisinart and Calphalon cookware but always come back to Rachel Ray's Cucina ware. It's lightweight but does what I need it to do. And, being able to put it in the dishwasher is a tremendous help to me. I love this cookware.

Please be aware of Safety Issue

These are very attractive pots and pans. The heat seems to spread evenly and they wash up very nicely. However, if I still had the box and original packing, I would be returning them. The problem? They slide on my gas stove! I loved everything about them until I was heating soup and with an easy stirring motion the pot almost slid off the stove! I pulled out other pots in the house, even old and cheap ones, filled 1/2 way with water, stirred, and none of them slid off the burner - just my brand new Rachael Ray one. Very disappointing. I saved up for these and so wish I had chosen differently. This is a safety issue. I would never let a young person use them so I can't teach cooking to my nieces with them.

I have loved and supported Rachael Ray for over 10 years. I owned another pot set and many other products from her collection. This pot set is HORRIBLE. The handles are heavier than the pots so they are always tipping over on to my gas stove. They slide all over the place on the stove top. I also purchased more silicone utensils to use with this set, and yet somehow the pots and pans have scratches on them. They weren’t expensive, but it’s quite clear that I will have to purchase a higher quality pot set in the near future. Don’t waste your money!

Nice, But - A Word of Warning

I would have given this set 4 stars except for one thing that bothers me about this set. It cooks nicely, cleans easily, looks attractive, but the pots and pans slide around on my gas burners as though the bottoms were greased! (They aren't, of course). There is nothing special about my stove, it's just an ordinary Maytag, 4 burner, gas stove (see picture). I have an older set of Emeril cookware and they never slid around at all. So, a word of warning, be very careful about accidentally knocking or bumping this cookware when it's on your stove with HOT food or boiling liquids in it. Could be a terrible injury to the cook, children, or pets hanging around the kitchen!

I received my cookware 12/8/2017 and I was so happy with the look and the easy clean up. Unfortunately, the hard-anodized aluminum doesn't last very long. The 1st pot showing damage was my favorite pot because I use it more than the others. The larger sauce pot started with a ring around inside bottom portion of the pot. This has always been a red flag when my teflon would crack I would throw it away, now my hard-anodized aluminum is fading leaving a ring in my pot.. The upside to this problem is that so far out of the 12 piece set only lost one pot. This equals one pot lost and 5 to go before I'll need to purchase another set. I haven't got in touch with the company just wanted to share my story.

I'd give this set 1 star except that the pans and pots do cook and clean well, although I've only used them a couple times. Biggest flaw is one pot arrived in the sealed box completely defective - the pot is warped and the lid doesn't fit because of the defect. No cooking rice in it! I had already thrown out all of the boxes (my mistake) so returning the whole set wasn't an option. The other glaring issue is that ALL of the pots/pans scratch on the outside/bottom VERY easily; and I'm not that picky, but it's not what you expect from a new set of supposed quality. Disappointed.

This set of 12 piece cranberry color of hard-anodized aluminum nonstick cookware set by Rachel Ray is the worst I have ever used. Because the bottoms are so slick they slip right off an electric stove, which is very unsafe for "anyone to use" and certainly elderly people, as it would be vey easy for an accident to happen. I have tried to find someone to call about them, have been unsuccessful. Bought from Amazon cookware set is still under the year warranty. Would so like to have another set of cookware with some weigh. As these don't cook well because of the light weight, food burns easily under less than medium heat!

Have had these for almost 6 months and they look the same as they did when I took them out of the box. Also, nothing sticks to any surface of it. Truly non-stick and dishwasher safe!

Update: Still use these pans everyday! The outside body of the pan is a little banged up, but the non-stick coating is still as good as the day we bought them. Literally the best pans I’ve ever owned!

I bought them because they are hard anodized and the nice color. In the beginning I had no issue because I cooked once in a big while. Lately we started cooking everyday but we don’t use all the pans everyday obviously, first we noticed black dirt every time we wiped the pans no matter how good we washed (wipes after heading first) Then the pans started to peel (see pics) not the first time something made by this brand disappoints. Now I’ll have to spend more money to buy another set. Thanks but no thanks.

Can you pick the old skillets purchased 9/2018??? I don’t understand all the negative reviews..my skillets get heavy use, I wash them by hand. I was very relieved when inspecting and comparing the old skillet set and the new complete set! Another big bonus I was not expecting - the lid for the large pot fits one of the old skillets that I already had! Perfect! I enjoy cooking and this set is an excellent addition to my kitchen...
