NOW ADDICTED TO THE BIG CITY HOG's

WOW! I loved this game!!! Playing the HOG that have the story lines that you have to click around all the different areas with only a few HOG, is ok but this to me is a true HOG. Yes it has puzzles to complete, love the Mahjong that is thrown in a few times which isn't enough. But every other game is a HOG that takes place in different locations, and to me the Clock Tower mechanical room was the best one! That was a challenge. The rooms were very well set up and the hidden objects camouflaged in very well. When searching unsuccessfully for a couple items had caused me to become a little edgy and frustrated I had to grab my magnifying glass to find a few. I refused to use the hint button, but I did have to give in a couple of times so I wouldn't raise my blood pressure, LOL!

No Place to Enter Activation Code

Game downloaded fine after purchase, but then game stopped stating trial period was over. It said if I had purchased the game, which I had, to go go my software and games library. There was an activation code there but I was never prompted to for it. I never saw anywhere to put it. I tried several more times to download it with same results. Would like my money back but didn't see any way to request that. Lesson learned. Won't be ordering games from Amazon again.

Big City Adventure London Classic

I own four Big City Adventure games, and this one doesn't disappoint. The puzzles have a different look in each game but play the same. There is a new puzzle involving pushing buttons in the right sequence to open a safe which is very difficult. Finding objects is a little more difficult in this new game. I enjoy playing it. I would say it has medium difficulty.

My only complaint is my antivirus program, Avast!, keeps identifying the game as having a virus. It not only blocks the game from running but deletes the desktop icon. I have contacted Amazon and they assure me the game is virus free, but does have a problem with some antivirus programs. In order to play it, I have to shut down my antivirus protection. If I forget, I have to re-install from scratch.

Very colorful and well done graphics. Interesting destinations. However could not always tie the game graphics presented to the destination. E.g. Oxford St is a street of shops not apartments or their interiors as depicted. Has a good level of difficulty. Again, inbetween games somewhat funky.

Pretty good game when it starts - I've had a lot of trouble getting it to launch.
Follow up - I had the same trouble starting other Big City games but I liked them well enough to play several. I found that if I clicked my mouse repeatedly until the Jolly Bear logo appeared they all started fine. These are fun fairly easy HOG scenes with educational short intros and simple puzzles between scenes. I raised my rating to 4 stars once I learned how to start up easily.

I like the Big City Adventure games. A relaxing game to play. Am waiting for the newer games in the series to become available
I like the brightness of the screens. Some games are so dark I have a problem seeing the dark corners. This series is very friendly for poor vision problems.
