I ordered this so i could freeze some food during the Pandemic. I'm 72 years old and don't really like going out right now. Was excited to buy this freezer but was very disappointed when the door wouldn't close. (6" from shutting(. I made sure it was level but that didn't help. Decided to take the door off and change the way it opened, thinking that might help. But the screws are too tight to turn. I called Whynter and they were no help. Told me to call who i bought it from and get it replaced. Not even a suggestion. No help whatsoever. So i called Amazon and they aren't taking calls. Sure, i can do a return but how am i suppose to pick it to take it to UPS? I'm a 72 yr old woman with health issues, I live alone and ordered this because I'm under self quarantine. i can't afford to lose $189. Talk about being thoroughly disappointed.
UPDATE: Since returing for a replacement was impossible and i could reach no one i decided to try something else. I used a drop of sewing machine oil, let it sit and finally got the screws loose. Turns out the manufacturer tightened the hinge but did not make sure the post on the door was in the hole. Once i was able to pop it where it belonged, the door shut. They had to know this ad they taped the door shut, not an easy task. Definitely not Amazon's fault, it was sloppy work by the manufacturer. In addition their customer service was terrible. But at least it's now working. Still wouldn't recommend.
