Excellent! Excellent! For all the reasons you've read in other reviews... So, I took a gamble and purchased the dual display arm version for my u3415w (34" monitor) and it paid off--just in case you're wondering. The size restriction is really about weight but since the 34" is so big I wasn't sure if it'll fit with my Dell 24" beside it and i just figured at worse I'll have the 24" in portrait the whole time. However, after setting it up over the past couple days, I very happy to report it'll fit both display in landscape perfectly (see pics).

Also, as some have reviewed, I was concerned that the arms would stick out too much behind my desk and not allow me to push my desk close to the wall. If you're concerned about this, see my picture below because it is possible to do but with the right setup. You may be limited a bit in terms of movement but not by much, at least for me.

Excellent quality and build; Super fast and easy setup; Highly recommend.

This AmazonBasics Desk Mount LCD Monitor Arm (made by Ergotron) is definitely the best product on market and thanks to Amazon who made it very affordable. I have 3 monitors and I needed 3 Monitor Arms to buy. I have equal respect for both companies Ergotron and Amazon so I don't have a problem with either label on the arms as long as I have the high quality product. It is a very well designed item, very well made and nicely packed just like we expect from Amazon. Very fast delivered, BTW. Even the instructions that I almost never read are very good. All tools for the tension adjustment are supplied. Extremely easy to put everything together. Five stars! I feel sorry for those who couldn't recognize the quality and even complained about it! I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants the best for their money. (I actually exchanged this dual-mount monitor arms for 2 single mount and I have 3 single monitor arms which works better in case of 3 screens. See the additional photo. But for two monitors I would definitely recommend the dual-mount. Sorry for the confusion)

I just installed this dual monitor stand for my two AOC 23" LED monitors. They weigh approx 8.5 lbs each, very light weight, but then tension for these gas springs were perfect right out of the box. I like the arms on this AmazonBasic Dual Monitor Stand better than all the others I researched, because the first set comes straight forward at about a 15 deg angle, versus most of the other ones at a 50 deg angle. What that essentially means is that I can install this further back on my desk and stretch it far out to reach me (I have a wide home office desk). I originally ordered the Loctek Gas Spring Dual Arm Desk Mounts Fits 10-27" Monitor up to 22 lbs per Arm (D5DH) to try and save money compared to the Amazon one, but I did not like how they go straight up, you cannot pull it out as far, additionally, I did not know the weight requirements. My monitor was on the minimum size, but even at the lightest setting, the gas springs were still too strong for my monitors, so I had to return them immediately.

All the pivots points all move perfectly smooth and are "tight" meaning I don't feel any wobble at all while moving the arms around. It was very easy to put together, however, my office desk did not allow me to use the end clamps, so I had to drill a small hole in my desk, but it's actually very stable. I can always wood fill it if I ever plan on selling my desk.

The only negative so far is probably not this product, but my AOC monitors. They have a weird proprietary "u" stand that connects to its original base. The tilt portion is built into my actual monitor, meaning when I tilt my monitor, it tilts my monitor before it actually tilts the base plate of this monitor stand. The monitors are so light weight that when I move the stand around, I can't move them by pushing and pulling my monitor, I have to push and pull the actual arms. I do not blame the product, I blame the way the monitor sets in the base. You can see in the pictures.

Otherwise, I highly recommended these dual monitor stands. They are very similar to what I have at work, except those are over $400, you know how companies love to over spend on products!

I received the Monitor mount 4/18/15. Very easy to set up with clear instructions and a pretty thick manual. The mount is sturdy and actually looks better than in the photos here online. The black is a smooth, matte finish with a nice looking "Amazon Basics" logo. Absolutely love it! (Admittedly it's only been a day). The design is suspiciously similar to the Ergotron LX including the mounting base, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is the Amazon Basics brand of the same product. I was surprised to see that there were no other reviews online so I might end up being the first, so for those of you holding out because you didn't want to be the first purchaser as I was I hope this encourages you to consider this product. My wife later told me she's a big fan of Amazon Basics products but this is my first foray into the brand.

I love this monitor arm. I'm using it with the Ergotron notebook arm mount tray which fits perfectly. The mounting arm clamps securely on my desk, an Ikea Bekant standing desk. I'm very glad I purchased this item, and glad that as an Amazon basic item it cost less than similar mounting arms.

Great quality desk arm. Unfortunately, out of the box it's not compatible with Varidesk standing desks (or at least my Varidesk Pro 36"), but is solved with a few bucks of hardware.

The problem is the tension bolt's handle is very close to a cross bar on the Varidesk. That cross bar moves backwards when the desk is changed from standing to sitting, and will hit the bolt handle about 3/4 of the way down, preventing the desk from going down all the way. I solved this with a standard M10-1.50 50mm bolt, two M10-1.50 nuts (one of which is flanged), a 1/2in x 2in fender washer, and a 1/2in x 2in neoprene washer.

Thread the bolt through the c-brace, then through the nut, then through the flanged nut. I'm using two nuts to provide extra tension; a lock nut would do the same thing but I couldn't find a flanged lock nut. The bolt should poke out the top of the flanged nut by just a hair to keep the fender washer in place, but not dig into the underside of the desk. Then position the fender washer and neoprene washer on top of the flanged nut and use a wrench to tighten the bolt.

Total cost was about $4 of hardware. Unfortunate that this was necessary, but it's not the fault of either the display arm or the desk.

My husband wanted to mount our monitors on a table in the living room, so I bought two of these mounting arms and they are awesome! They're sturdy, easy to install, and we've had no problems with them. They get quite a lot of daily use and we've not had an a single issue. The arm has quite a bit of reach, which was important to us since we weren't mounting them on a desk. The joints do get loose with use, so you'll want to make sure not to lose the little allen wrench that came with the arm. Tightening it back up, if you need to, is super simple. But, even a little loose, the arm isn't at all unstable. The springs in the arm are strong enough to hold up our monitors with ease, no sagging or dropping, and the spring doesn't lose tension over time. It's as strong today as it was when we bought the arm months ago!

One thing I couldn't seem to find an answer for before buying, and was even told it wasn't possible, was if you could mount this arm on a table with a lip. The table in the image has a lip, it's not a flat surface on the underside. We were able to easily mount the arms, no problems. If your table has a lip, you'll just need something to close the gap. I used old hardback books we had around, but wood block would work too. You can't see the books and it's quite sturdy, no slipping at all.

After months of regular use, I highly recommend this product. This arm has everything we were looking for in a mounting arm at a great price. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!!

As you are aware, this is the same LX Dual Side-By-Side Arm by Ergotron in an all black finish with only a 1 year warranty.

It was easy to install and I have been using this for five months and am very happy since I need to move my monitors a lot.

It wasn't clear from the Ergotron website what the highest position of the monitor is, so I've included photos of my left monitor (Viewsonic 22") in the highest position. If you need the monitors higher above the desk, this mount may not work for you.

Approximate measurements with monitor tilted slightly backwards:
-desk to the bottom of the monitor is 10.5 inches
-desk to the top of the monitor is 22.5 inches
-desk to the bottom of the monitor mounting plate on the back is 13.25 inches.

I use it with a 22HD Cintiq and it works perfectly. I you haven't used an arm for your cintiq then do yourself a favor a try it! I don't have as much desk space so it was really important to use an arm. I can easily illustrate on my cintiq and push it away when I'm done. I do a lot of traditional drawing/sketching as well so its very convenient when I need the desk space for sketching or painting. I brought my Ergotron arm to work and needed a replacement for my Cintiq at home. This was a perfect fit. Pretty much works exactly the same. It just has an Amazon Basics logo on it. And is cheaper! I am very happy with it. I use the clamp at the edge of my desk.

Very nice , holds two 24' wide screen monitors. I just got a sit stand desk and the monitors were to low. I removed the 3 inch neck pipe and replaced it with an 8 inch neck pipe (You can get at ACE), now I can get my monitors 12+ inches off the desk surface. Works perfect.
