The bag I received is not the bag shown in the photos included in the listing for the Baggalini Everywhere Travel Crossbody Bag. The close up photos show a zippered pocket on each end of the bag and reasonably good construction – seams are straight without huge puckers and it stands up nicely. The bag I received has all kinds of Baggalini tags that appear to be legit, but the quality sure looks like a counterfeit bag..

This is the bag I received – (see my photos)
- One end is a 6 ½” flat pocket with no room to hold anything. They just laid the pocket on the end of the bag and sewed it in with all the seams except the top.
- The other end has a vertical zipper from bottom of the bag almost to the top. Inside this is a pouch with an elastic top pocket. This extends into the interior of the bag, so takes away from the space inside the bag. It appears to be intended to hold a bottle of water, which would take up quite a bit of the interior space.
- Construction quality is deplorable – seams are not straight, big puckers in the seams, the bag will not stand up straight. It looks like it comes from Wal-Mart or some other discount store. At the very least it must be a quality control reject. The color is very dull and boring, not worthy of the name “Pacific.” It is – in a word – ugly!!
- Zipper at top – extends more than 2” at one end and does not even close properly at the other end.

This is not an $85 bag any way you look at it. What a letdown because the bag with zippered pockets received glowing reviews on many sites. This is not that bag.

Needless to say I am returning the bag. What a disappointment because I thought it would be the perfect solution for ,u upcoming corss country trip

Gushing over my new Baggallini!

I think I've finally found the perfect purse. I admit, I have a bag obsession, and this is the 6th Baggallini product I own, but these are awesome! I purchased the charcoal with the fuchsia interior, and it's a beautiful, classy combination. The purse is both functional and stylish, with well organized pockets. The depth of the purse is ideal, so I'm not searching so hard for something at the bottom. There's even a surprise pocket tucked behind the flap pocket on the front--it's a great spot for my phone. I have an iPhone 5 in an Otterbox case, which fits perfectly in the front zipper pocket as well. Wearing the bag crossbody or on my shoulder is comfortable. It stands up on its own when filled, and can carry a 16.9 oz water bottle in the side pocket. The other side zip pocket is a nice, protected spot for my sunglasses. The new strap material is much prettier than the original design. My previous favorites were the Sydney and the Avenue tote. This bag is smaller than both of those, but I'm not missing the extra size. As a mom who has downsized from diaper bags and still carries everything we (or she!) might possibly need, this bag accommodates--without being too bulky!

Let's clear up some questions

Just received my Baggalini Everywhere bag and I love it! There were many questions and different answers here about the bag. I wasn't sure what to expect. I just received the Black Cheeta bag and hope you will find this info useful.

First off the color is gorgeous!. I was worried that the "cheeta" would be to obvious. It is not! If you are on the fence, don't worry. It is so subtle, at first I thought they sent me the solid black (which would have been fine, but it was almost double the price). I am very happy with the color. You really have to be looking carefully to see the cheeta. It just looks lightly embossed.

The coin purse which is attached inside, DOES have RFID. Many people said it didn't. Maybe these were older versions. See the photos of the tags.

Many people stated that is would not fit a Galaxy Tablet. One of the photos shows my Galaxy Tab A which measures 6.5 by 10.5 inches in the case and it fits easily into the main compartment. My Galaxy S6 phone in a flip case just fits in the front small left zipper compartment and still zips up.

There are no visible grommets of rivets on the bag or straps. It is all stitched for reinforcement. The interior is tan/khaki.

The side pockets: One is open and 7 inches tall. It does not fit a Kirkland water bottle, but fits eyeglasses nicely. It will fit a narrow bottle like those Crystal Ice drinks. It is tight but doable. The other side pocket has a zipper and a small elastic pouch inside. Too small for a water bottle, but good for sunglasses. It is 8 inches tall.

I am so happy with this bag. Can't wait to use it on a 3.5 week trip to France and England this spring!

Quality Purse with Oodles of Pockets

This is a quality purse with SEVEN pockets on the outside (see my photos). It also has a large snap pocket on the back that you can unzip at the bottom and use it as a sleeve to slide the purse on top of your luggage handle to make it easy to carry through the airport.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is that it has multiple credit card slots inside, but a separate RFID-blocking mini-purse inside connected by a tether. Why isn't the RFID-blocking in the credit card area? This doesn't make sense.

It is made with quality construction, tough handle (but not cut-proof) that's wide enough to be comfortable on one's shoulders. It provides lots of space and has a silky, quality feel to the fabric and well as the handle. It also has a lovely magenta-colored lining inside the center of the purse and all the other pockets on the outside.

I love the Baggalini Everywhere Bag show in the picture. Unfortunately, what I received is evidently a revised version. I have had the one pictured for approx. 3 years and love it. The compartments are perfectly sized and I love the zip compartments on each end. The one I received had bigger front compartments and one of the side pockets had a vertical zip with a pouch within - not appealing, and on the other end an open pocket - again, not appealing. I returned the one I received. In the process of the return, I reviewed my order history and found that the picture initially shown was for the bag I wanted, but when I clicked on the picture, it turned into the version I received. Someone needs to take down the incorrect picture on-line if the original version is no longer available.

Beautiful and practical--the perfect bag! A bargain!

This is just a great bag--big enough for everything without being so big it overwhelms you. It has enough room for a full-sized hairbrush, Kindle (plus another book or small notebook if you want), cosmetic bag, even a rain hat. Several options for where to put your cell phone and passport. It has ten pockets for credit cards, and keeping in mind that you can put more than one in each slot, it's hard to imagine needing more. Inside you'll find two big pockets so you can recall just where you put things, and there are two front outside pockets plus one on either end. Though I've not tried it, I'm confident the one will hold a small water bottle. The bag is extremely nice looking--sleek and dressy enough to take anywhere, with nice hardware that's not overdone. I love the handle. It's wide and soft so it doesn't cut into your shoulder, and is totally adjustable. Empty, the bag hardly weighs anything, so how heavy you make it is up to you. I've had other Baggallini bags, and loved them all. They wear forever. The only reason to get a new one really is so that you can have a change of style. I'm extremely glad I made this purchase--about the best bag you can get for the money anywhere. Stylish, totally practical, and outwears any leather bag out there. What more can you possibly want?

Great travel handbag for a road trip

This is my 3rd "travel" handbag and first Baggallini brand purchase. I read tons of reviews, checked and double-checked the specs so I clearly understood this bag's features and I'm happy I did. Here's what I discovered after using this purse on a recent 6-week road trip.

Inside, it is very roomy, has lots of storage pockets, 8 card slots for debit/credit cards, a large zip pocket, two loops for lipstick/chapstick and an attached key lanyard, as well as a removable zippered pouch/coin purse.

On the outside: there is a pocket on both ends; one is an open slip pocket which easily fits an iPhone XS and the other end has a zippered pocket which will hold a short bottle (6 oz) fully enclosed inside the elastic pouch and zipper, or an 8 oz bottle with the zipper open.

On the front: The bag has one flap pocket w/ magnetic closure and one zippered pocket. Behind the flap pocket is another magnetic-closure slash pocket where items can be stored. Above the 2 front pockets is a large, full length zippered pocket.

The back of the bag has a slash pocket with magnetic closure - the bottom of which is zippered and can be opened to allow the bag to slip over the handle of a suitcase for ease when traveling…which can be a problem (more about that in a bit).

The pros: This bag holds a LOT of stuff, which is perfect for a road trip but could be too commodious for air travel or trips with a great deal of walking. The pockets are conveniently located, easily accessed and with the exception of the slip pocket on the end, keep items secured. The inside card slots remove the need for a separate wallet, as each slot can hold more than one card.

The cons: The shoulder strap cannot be removed to secure around the back of a chair or table leg, so must be held/worn to guarantee safety. The inside lip/chapstick holders are only good for that type of item as pens/pencils are not secure in these loops. The zipper on the back slash/magnetic closure/zippered-on-the-bottom pocket is not secure…it WILL unzip and if you have anything important (cell phone, etc), it could easily be lost without you being quickly aware.

Suggestions to the manufacturer: 1) Provide locking clips for all external zippers, 2) Provide a shoulder strap with one end removable/lockable to secure the bag to a stationary object and 3) Provide inside vertical loop(s) for pen/pencil - which could be on either/both ends of the card slots.

Bottom line: The bag held up wonderfully, carried everything I needed (and more!), and was comfortable to wear as a shoulder or crossbody bag.

Not too big or too small - just right!

I spent MANY hours trying to find the right purse online before buying this, and I’m so glad I picked this one! I’m searching for a magical purse that holds everything without getting heavy, but this Everywhere Travel bag will have to do for now. I no longer change handbags to match outfits, but after a couple of months I realized, who cares!? I thought it would be too casual for work, but my chiropractor’s pleas for me to use a crossbody instead of shoulder bags finally convinced me; I could have purchased several bags for the cost of those extra adjustments and I think it has helped my neck and shoulders. It holds exactly what I need, but not one thing more, so I can’t “move in”. I initially ordered a smaller Baggallini (the Criss Cross) and laughed out loud when it arrived - it was barely bigger than my cosmetics bag! I wanted to downsize, but really!? While I’ve generally frowned on boring “What’s in my bag?” lists in online reviews, I have to admit they were helpful in my purse quest... so here it is: small wallet, the little RFID wristlet on a strap that came with the bag, personal keys, huge ring of work keys, medium-large cosmetic bag with a gazillion small items, glasses, sunglasses in a large hard case, pens, pepper spray, iPhone in a huge indestructible case (not the Plus, fits in rear slide pocket for easy access), earbuds, granola bar, and gum. Wow, this feels more personal than I expected... Here’s what does NOT fit: iPad (regular, unless you leave it unzipped), books, lunch, 20 oz. water bottle, or all the crap my other half used to put in my bag when I carried The Big One. I’m pleased with the material (no fake-leather cheap-looking plasticy stuff and no real leather), zippers, hardware, and strap. The pocket on the back zips open to slide over a suitcase and the bag travels well. I have not used the side water bottle holder yet since my reusable bottles are too large; there’s room for improvement on that feature but it’s unobtrusive when zipped. Maybe it would hold a mini umbrella? I bought a matching tote bag for work since I travel tons throughout the day, but that does get VERY heavy. Since I decided to prioritize my bodily wellbeing over cute handbags, I also switched to a ladies’ rolling briefcase, which is life altering! Hmmmm.... might have to think about more comfortable footwear...

I was very disappointed with the quality. The main zipper was put in incorrectly. The closed end of the zipper sticks out 2 1/4" beyond the end of the purse. The open end of the zipper then comes up short and won't close completely. I needed the purse to use while traveling so I did not return it, but every time I use it, I realize I should have returned it anyway. I've had other Bagallini products and have liked them, but this one is a real disappointment.

I have been a big fan of Baggallini for years. I love that they put so much effort into designing amazing bags for REAL life use. The number one reason I buy a bag is function not just be an over-priced accessory. I, also, do want a durable, lovely bag as I am one to use it continuously until it has to be recycled. Baggallini is one of a very few brands that I will buy because they have such a great reputation and have not started cutting corners on quality and design to increase profit margin.
This bag is no exception! It is a medium-sized bag that you can put a Kindle or other similarly-sized item in without any issue. It has plenty of space in the large zippered middle compartment that provides slots for credit cards, as well as, a smaller zippered compartment within this main section.
A small RFID zippered bag is included for credit cards that can be clipped to a sturdy cord with clasp inside this main compartment. One suggestion I have is that the whole main compartment be RFID since the credit card slots are in that part. The small zippered bag that is included does not have card slots so all has be left together in one jumble if you want the RFID protection.
Both the main compartment and the small zippered bag are lined with bright fuchsia and not only is it a nice surprising bit of happiness when you unzip bag every time, it allows light in and makes it easy to find items. I keep an 8” zippered RFID wallet as well as a coupon/receipt file of similar size in this section in addition to the small zippered bag that was included with purchase. I still have lots of room for other items if needed i.e. paperback book, glasses case.
The back compartment has a magnetic snap at top to keep large flat items in place but also has a zippered bottom! This is a fantastic feature for traveling as the bag can then slip over the pull handle on luggage and allows for easy, contained movement through airport and elsewhere. I have also used to keep track of sweaters and jackets better by folding them through space for more secured no-hands transport. I do wish that this zipper had a locking clasp so when not in use, it can be secured in place. The zipper does occasionally work its way open with daily use of the bag and the contents of pocket can drop out of bottom. There is a roomy fuchsia-lined cellphone pocket in front with snap closure that holds my phone in wallet-style case(my phone dimensions 5 7/8" x 3 1/8" x 5/8") and can still snap closed. There are still two more zippered and fuchsia-lined compartments on front of bag. One is nice to keep chapstick, bandaids, and WetOnes handy. The other will hold a Kindle, etc. The zippers are all heavy-duty with ergonomically-designed pulls for easy use. It has pocket on each side. The one is just open with no flap and could be used for a cellphone. I have used it to carry a second 16oz water bottle. The other is designed to carry a beverage with elasticized pocket that is easily closed with a vertical zipper when not in use. It could also carry sunglass case securely.
The fabric is black background with grey flowers similar to chrysanthemum (or from one child's eye they looked like grey fireworks). The fabric is again sturdy canvas-style yet smooth and supple and not shiny. I have used this bag almost every day since I purchased and it still looks brand new. It is not showing any wear--not even the bottom. I have wiped off coffee spills and slushy grit with no visible stains.
The shoulder strap is wide (1 ¼”), smooth and still shows no wear at all at heavy duty metal connectors after all of this time. It has no pilling anywhere on bag not even the strap. I usually wear over my shoulder but occasionally when travelling or walking long distances I use as a cross-body bag. The one suggestion I would have for the strap is to add some type of fabric around top to keep bag from slipping off the shoulder. When I bought the bag, it was modeled as cross-body so I can see why Baggallini did not add. For me, I like a smaller bag for everyday cross-body use. However, I love this bag and carrying my everyday essentials plus the ability to carry a little more comfortably when travelling makes me totally happy using as shoulder bag daily.
