I bought these to go with my new mandoline because of the great reviews. I'd never had any before and didn't know to test them prior to use. Well, first time using my new mandoline, I accidentally cut a hole in the tip of a finger. I was disappointed, but figured if I put that glove on the other hand, I'd be protected. Lol! Silly me! The next time, I used the larger pair I'd gotten my sister. Had the exact same problem... only this time, I was left bleeding. Washed them, switched hands, and cut a hole in the opposite glove with my normal kitchen knives. Trust? Destroyed.
I'm going to try some Kevlar gloves; 2 bad pairs by this brand has left me with a sour taste in my mouth for stainless gloves of any brand.
