Spotify Connect was one of the primary reasons we bought a Fire Stick, but it doesn't work. No matter what we try, the TV won't show up as an available device. The whole point of Spotify is that it's supposed to make listening to music simple, but this app does the opposite. I've wasted so much time trying to get it to work with no success. I won't be renewing my Spotify subscription and I may return the Fire Stick.

Easy to install and use, but I am getting some noise crackling/distortion when playing music on Fire TV box and through my Bose sound bar. When I play from Spotify iOS app via bluetooth to sound bar, the distortion is not present. When I watch shows and movies through FIre TV the distortion is not present. Hopefully they fix this, as I would like to use it regularly.

Not too impressed with the Amazon Fire Stick as far a streaming device goes. But I just wanted to say that Spotify as a service is amazing. I don't feel very good about spending thousands of dollars on CD's in my youth anymore. Even as an audiophile, it seems like an insane waste of money. Having millions of songs at your finger tips for $10 a month with excellent sound quality and portability is incredible. Playstations interface along with being able to control the music on my iPad as a controller sold me a couple years ago. No brainer!!!!

Is a bit harder to use then cell phone app due to the limited buttons and functions on the remote if you are not streaming from your phone and I don't like how that takes up two devices when you're streaming but Spotify is a awesome application that I use daily good work keep it up and try to get tool to put their music on that's the only ones I haven't found.

For my phone awesome. For fire tv I need to uninstall to prevent further damage to my controller.

I love Spotify. I used to have Pandora, but switched. With Spotify I can make my own playlist, listen to artists I want to hear, and Spotify gives me suggestions to add to my lists based on songs that are there. I can edit my playlists anytime, can follow (or unfollow) someone elses playlist. There is just so much you can do. And if you have a technical issue that you need help with, they are great with that too. Can't say enough good things about Spotify. Works great with my Echo, phone, or pic.

1star reviewers probably have the wrong wifi. You have to make sure your phone and your fire tv are connected to the same wifi. Then you pick fire TV as the device. Then you use the app as usual from your phone. It works flawlessly. Just spent six hours listening on my real stereo - no more need for Sonos. Simple and gets it done.

I recently switched from another streaming service and really like Spotify's ability to find music I like. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the play button on the app (on my iPhone) is teensy unless you first tap the equally teensy up arrow to show your current selection full-screen.

This review is for Spotify Connect on Amazon Fire TV. It's utterly hopeless. As many other users have said, the app is frequently unable to detect other devices on the same network (like the Amazon Fire). I took a tip from another user here and purchased a TP-LINK TL-PA4010, so that I could connect my Amazon Fire via an ethernet connection. That worked for a few months, but a couple of weeks ago for no apparent reason, the Spotify app once again stopped detecting Amazon Fire on my network.

A major disappointment, both in Amazon Fire TV and Spotify Connect, since the Spotify feature was a major selling point for my Amazon Fire purchase.

It easily synchronized with my tv. All my playlists where up and running for me to play on the tv. Disclaimer- although it all works wonderful, the screen does not change. What I mean by that is , that if you're playing a song, the screen will remain the way you left it. So it may mark your screen if you leave it for a long period of time. But other than that, it's great and there is no buffering or any other problem with its service.
