I have been using Gluten Free flour blends for over 20 years....all of them....some are just nasty grainy....some taste gross, and some just don't really work one to one. This one is perfect for everything I have used it for....baked goods, thickening, cooking. No funny flavor, not grainy, just a perfect flour. I have NOT made bread with it yet but everything else I cook and bake it has been great! And I love that it is organic, very important to me.

It doesn’t hold as the normal flour would. So it’s not 1:1 substitute .
But I like it.. the only thing to remember is to bake it with +15 minutes more in a less heated oven

Sorry I forgot to review earlier. If I had I would have taken pictures. The bread came it perfect. So good! I’ll be buying this again although I don’t eat much bread. Wonder if I can make crackers with this??? I’ll let ya know next review when I reorder. 🙂

No potato starch

I've been using Namaste flour for years. It's the only gf flour I've found (and I think I've looked at almost all of them) without potato starch -Im allergic to potatoes. It makes great muffins, cornbread-more of a fluffy cornbread than dense but that's what I like- and I've recently started making sandwich bread. I add an additional 1/2 tsp xanthum gum to help hold the bread together as it was crumbly without. I havent perfected cooking time yet but I still enjoy it for sandwiches, and it beats the $7.00 I was paying for a tiny loaf of Canyon Bakehouse (the only store-bought bread I could find without potato starch)

Makes great brownies

I am severely gluten intolerant and love this flour. They have a website with recipe ideas and a really good brownie one. Obviously organic and not grainy texture like other gf flours, but hard to get to rise. That's standard for gf though so I give it a pass.
I haven't made bread I like with it, but I am still trying. 7 layer cake is good cause it doesn't need to rise.

The higher protein level, 2 grams, attracted me to this GF mix. Compared to other GF mixes, this has a bland taste and is not as fluffy for pancakes as other brands. The first flour is sorghum. Next up is to try it in a more complex dish with different flavors.

I’m new to GF baking and I wasn’t sure about using this for a gluten free sourdough but wow did it turn out great! All of the GF mixes in the store are so expensive and this was such a great deal! The taste and texture was great and not too dense! I will definitely continue to use this brand!

I was skeptical at first to purchase gluten free flour and honestly I didn't know which one to pick. However, after searching I found this one and I really like it. It tastes good and works well for flatbreads. I have had no side effects from it and will continue to buy.
