High quality-you get what you pay for!

A large quantity bag that is not inexpensive but the quality is there. I kept purchasing the small bags in the nut section of our local "foodie" chain and they kept going off after a short while of being opened. Not sure how old those sunflower seeds were but even the coloring of these seeds appear to be much fresher and more recently hulled. The taste of these seeds are better as well.

Rancid smell

It didn’t smell fresh and the taste was off. I consume sun flow seeds regularly and this pack was off.

Nutrition label is WRONG (updated)

Update 8/15/23: I see they finally updated their nutrition info after 4 years. It shouldn't have taken that long but at least it's correct now. Thank you TerraSoul.

UPDATE 6/3/21: Changing to 1 star. Companies should be required to disclose correct nutritional values. It's been 2 years since they told me they would update this listing with the correct info and they have failed to do so. Very irresponsible, and I don't trust a company that purposely displays incorrect nutrition facts..

waiting to hear back from the seller on this, and will update once I hear from them but be aware, the label received is different than what is shown here. For those that are carb conscious, the label listed here is great... a 31g serving contains 6g carbs and 4g fiber. What I received, lists a 15g serving with 3g carbs and 1g fiber (so doubled to a 30g serving would be 6g carbs and 2g fiber, a difference of 2g net carbs, which can be significant for those watching their carbs closely). I have not opened the bag, and will wait to hear back from Terrasoul. Just giving a heads up to those that it might help. I've included a picture of what I received as well as the pic listed here. I notice others have pointed this out, and Terrasoul hasn't updated the info here. Terrasoul, update the nutrition information here to reflect the products you are selling. This is my 1st order with you, and the only reason I chose you over others was based on the fact that you do seem to provide good customer service and you actually respond to customers. But this doesn't bode well for first impressions.
UPDATE: The company quickly reached out and clarified the nutrition info, and the info on the bag I received is correct, not the one on the site. They also stated they would update the information on Amazon, which I notice hasn't been done yet. I do hope they update the information soon. I did taste them, and they were fresh and tasty, they just don't quite fit into the nutrition profile for what I'm making. Kudos however to the company for a quick response.

Seal isn’t fully covered resulting loose sunflowers present in the packaging bag. Tainted. Not safe to eat. Very reluctant to order again. Don’t know if this just random or it’s manufactured mishaps.

After eating 2/3 of a bag of sunflower seeds, I ingested a clump of something w/ different texture and horrid chemical taste. It was definitely non-organic. I’ve purchased several products from this brand and never had an issue. Absolutely horrified. I can only speculate as to what this substance was. I purged - just in case. Suspect it was some type of cleaning residue or preservative. It’s too late to return it since I ate most of it. Hope producers look into this. Maybe it was a fluke...maybe not. I’m sad bc this was my favorite brand of sunflower seeds.

Reading all the good reviews on these is ultimately had me convinced but I maybe I just didn't get a good batch. There was something so weird and off about the taste I couldn't place it..I thought maybe if I roast and salt them but that didn't help and usually I'm snaking on sunflower seeds, putting them in salads and making non dairy Creams and Sauces out of them..But these just had me staring at the bag like wtf, I just can't get pass the taste. Unfortunately these just wasn't worth the purchase for me.

Wildly inaccurate information about Vitamin E content

I bought this product because of its supposed high Vitamin E content. It's difficult to find foods with high Vitamin E.

The bag I received says there is 17% of your Vitamin E in 1/8 cup. On Amazon it says that 1/4 cup contains 82%. So if you make the serving size the same, the bag says it only contains 34% of your Vitamin E per 1/4 cup. That is less than half the advertised content.

Another poster said that they reached out to the company, and they said the nutrition info on the bag was correct and Amazon is incorrect. The company said they would update the information on Amazon almost 2 years ago, and it still isn't updated.

The product itself tastes fine. However, I do not respect a company that posts false information for over 2 years on Amazon. I personally do not trust this company.

On October 5, 2019, I purchased Sunflower Seeds, 4 pounds, and Pumpkin Seeds, 4 pound. Pumpkin seeds are very old, not fresh, flavorless and most of them are discolored (see photo "Pumpkin Seeds 3", attached). I am wondering because the way the expiration date is put on the package is very suspicious. It is printed on a sticker (see photo "Pumpkin Seeds 1" attached). There is no sticker on package of sunflower seeds and the expiration date was printed on package (see photo "Sunflower Seeds", attached), even the packages are similar. I purchased pumpkin seeds few months ago from another store and the expiration date was printed on package. There was no sticker (see photo "Pumpkin Seeds 2", attached). PLEASE, WOULD YOU BE SO KIND TO SEND ME AN EXPLANATION RELATING TO WHAT I WROTE ABOVE. Thank you.

The first bite I took of the sunflower seeds tasted like I bit into a piece of mold. I tried to return it but they won't give mr an option. I wish I could get a refund. This stuff is not cheap since you pay extra for organic seeds. Now I'm stuck with a bag of mold. This is terrible customer service! It's barely past two weeks. So disappointing!
