I finally cut the cord. No more cable TV whacky high bills. This antenna gives me about 15 channels in English and they are all high quality high def. Now i just pay for Internet and watch movies plus some good shows "free" with Amazon prime.

Neat little antenna. It's so unassuming and hides really easily behind my tv. Came with little push pins to tack it to the wall or little Velcro adhesives to stick it to your set. Plan on getting additional ones for the rest of the tvs in my house

This Amazon Basics antenna is the best of all the flat "leaf" antennas. And I found I didn't need the amplifier that comes with the 50 kile version (the only difference between this 35-mile version and the 50-mile version is the amplifier, which needs a power source). I got exactly the same results over multiple "auto scan" tries with the 35-mile version.

I also had consistently better results with this Amazon model over the other brands. And the best feature of the Amazon brand is the cable disconnects on both ends so you can easily replace the cable with a longer one if you need to. All the other brands I looked at had the antenna end of the cable soldered in "permanently".

With any antenna though, you really need to plan on spending some time finding the best place for it in your home and also the best direction to face it. There is some great guidance at tvfool.com. Generally speaking, the higher you can get it the better, and it seems to pick up signals better through window glass than through walls. I had to fiddle with fine tuning the facing direction over several days initially, but now channels come in very well. Don't just expect to tack it to the nearest wall and have it be perfect, unless you are pretty close to all the stations you want. And actually for the strongest stations the antenna usually does best flat on its back! (Either the white or black face can be the front or the back, only matters from a cosmetic point of view.)

For one tv in the house (the lowest one), I got all the channels I wanted except for one - which tvfool told me was off in another direction. So I bought a plitter/combiner for about $8.00 here on Amazon and a second one of these antennas and aimed the second at the channel I was not getting before, and viola, now I get all of them!

We are smart consumers and undestand that cable is on the way out and drastically overpriced. With that being, we realize that there are some things we still would like to watch from time to time. Faced with this dilemma, we thought we try an in home antenna. This is the first one we tried and we are beyond thrilled with it's performance.

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra 5 bucks for the one with a higher radius, better safe than sorry. Installation wasn't difficult and if you follow the instructions you will be just fine. My partner handles such matters and always reads them and with the reading it only took him about 10 minutes to hook up and hang. Programming the TV took a bit longer as we had no idea where the channels were located but we managed.

You can see from the photos that it wasn't necessary to hang it very high (and that it didn't match our 'rental property beige' wall color very well) to get a good picture. We get the basics perfectly including NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, PBS and several other random local channels. We really haven't had a disruption during a show yet. Honestly it has been flawless for us.

The antenna itself is a bit large and can stand out if your wall color doesn't match (see photo's). It is snoted that you are able to paint over it however, I can not speak to that as we left it as is. Anyone with a bit of creativity will find a place to hang it or disguise it, you have 10 feet of coaxial to play with so... Anyone that wants to just have basic television will be just fine with this antenna. It's affordable and very effective.

First off, I don't like how the power adapter isn't very flexible, in terms of placement, so power source must be near the same end as the coax tv connector (opposite end of antenna). Aside from that, I'm able to get about 170 channels (I live in the Los Angeles metro) but oddly, I can't get ABC. In addition to english channels, there are tons of south asian and a handful of spanish channels. I've coupled this antenna with the two-tuner HD Homerum Extend so that I can watch OTA TV on my Android and Apple TV devices. Add Plex Media (with plex pass) into the picture and you have their new Beta DVR with HD Homerun support to record all of your favorite OTA shows.

Works well I hooked it up directly to the back of my flat screen and started receiving about 60 channels for free then later I bought the booster that goes to it very cheap and it up the channels to about 100. The antenna itself is white on one side and black on the other so it's not too bad of an eyesore.

I live in the back of my downtown store building. When I installed the antenna near the tv we received several channels, but not all we had hoped for. I bought 100 ft of coax cable and moved the antenna to a window at the front of the building. Now I'm pretty sure we're picking up all stations within 50 miles. However, with some of the weaker signals we're getting interference from passing cars. I wish I could filter out the car interference, but don't know of a way to do that. At any rate, I feel like the antenna does as advertised.

Product is lightweight and easy to mount on the wall behind a TV on a stand so that it remains out of sight. The 35 mile range allowed me to catch all of the broadcast networks I should be able to catch according to the FCC website as I'm just over 20 miles outside of the city. Installation couldn't have been easier.

Well I'm updating my previous review, I live in Plano, Texas and most of the towers are 34-37 some are 45 miles away from me with many tall building and downtown Dallas in between my place and the towers. I just sat my antenna on the couch as it shows in the picture and I was shocked to see I got 35+ channels including FOX, CBS, NBC, ION and many other networks. and all are crystal clear no breaks or any interruption of any kind. The only channel that I didn't get is WFAA which is an ABC and I did research almost no one can get that channel. but I'm very happy with this antenna it was a good investment. I have ordered a 50 miles range amplified antenna as well it's on the way I will see if that one will get me ABC if it didn't I will stick with my AmazonBasic 35 because I love it.
