3.0 out of 5 starsCut to the Chase

I purchased this knife in hopes of having it replace some of my old worn out slicers and dicers. It was on sale, looked good, and had great reviews so I gave it a whirl. Let me just say that I am not, by any means, a chef....I just cook dinner for my wife and I every night and have used a range of knives. With that being said, let's cut to the chase (pun intended):
Positives:
1). Extremely light weight
2). Good look and design
3). Seems to be extremely sharp
4). Knife sheath provides excellent coverage
Negatives:
1). Blade is extremely thin
2). Blade bends easily
3). Handle is made of cheap plastic
4). Handle and Blade are glued together (so I worry about durability)
Overall, I think that you get what you pay for with this knife. At the time of my purchase, the knife is on sale for $9.99, which makes it a decent slicer for the price. I'm not extremely overwhelmed by the construction and durability of this blade, but it seems like a decent knife to have laying around to be used in a pinch.
