Great Picture Quality / Terrible Build Quality
Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2016
Picture quality on this television is great but I have some serious doubts on the materials used. This TV was the second one I received after the first showed a faint blue spot in the middle of the screen. The replacement process was quick and painless but it still left a bad taste in my mouth that a new TV would have those issues out of the box. Typically a 7 series TV by Samsung has been on the higher end in the past. The TV frame bends easily and creaks and snaps when moved. Also, the frame was chipped when it arrived. The stand for this TV is terrible. I swear my TV leans forwards or backwards depending on which way I touch or move it. I am concerned that it may topple over if someone pulls on the front. It would have been nice if they had included tie downs as they have in the past with my other Samsung Televisions. I was have also liked a remote IR sensor to be included as previous 7 series TV's had (in a smaller 40" size). A TV this size should have a sturdier metal stand. If you are mounting this TV on the wall you should have no issues.
