Great sleep mask from PLEMO!

As someone that needs complete darkness to sleep soundly, this sleep mask from PLEMO has been a lifesaver!
The mask comes in a nice pouch to store it in when not in use. It is made of silky material and has a wide Velcro band in the back. I did not notice any type of odor when using this mask. I really like that the eye holes are contoured so they don't sit right against your eyelids. This allows me to blink and move my eyes without disturbing the mask. The stretchy Velcro band holds the mask securely to my face and I haven't noticed much shifting during the night at all.
Since I have been using this sleep mask I have slept much more soundly and don't notice myself waking up as much during the night. If you are someone that suffers from migraines I could see this sleep mask being very helpful for that also.

Blocks light, but bleeds color...

The mask functions well, but it's got a huge downside: it bleeds color into fabric and skin. I've owned this mask for almost a month and have used it diligently every night. I've also used my regular night serums/creams as the majority of us do. My best guess leads me to believe that this mask absorbs oils from your products/skin and bleeds color as a result. I've attached photos showing the dark stain this mask left on my bed sheet when I inadvertently slept on top of it this AM (for no more than an hour). It also left multiple spot stains on our duvet cover over the past weeks (and I just figured out that the mask was the culprit based on the present staining).
Now, before you imagine that I slop/slather loads of oily/greasy products on my face, I don't. I use primarily oil free products and I apply a minimal amount. I also allow my products to soak/work in prior to going to bed. On top of that, I only put the mask in in the early AM when light starts to bug me. I also never wet this eye mask and always keep it in a dry/non-humid place where it can air out between wearings.
BOTTOM LINE: TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Personally I can't imagine that the black dye in this mask is non-toxic. Perhaps the company will take note and offer more specifics? Whatever the case, I'm looking elsewhere for a mask that won't bleed dye into my fabrics or skin.

Awesome. I regularly sleep in the back of my SUV in random parking lots and garages. I rigged up some black-out curtains to block the light, but they are a huge PITA to deal with. I found these, and after trying them for a few days at home to make sure they were comfortable, I took them on the road. 24 hr Wal-mart parking lot after drinking all the beer Charlotte has to offer. Didn't put up the curtains. Total black-out of all light and super comfortable to wear. Slept better than ever, waking less throughout the night. Woke up in the morning around 9am, took them off and I was blinded by the sun coming into the back of my truck. Normally that would have awoken me, even if I had just got asleep, but I had no idea. Again super comfortable, will fit large heads. And blocks just about all the light, even with your eyes open, although you will sleep better if you close them.

Great sleep mask. I love that it is adjustable, but I have to wear it over my ears to fit low enough to actually keep out light because one of my ears is a bit higher than the other. (more common then you think) I sweat under the mask so end up adjusting it every time I wake up, but I think it is more because it actually fits snugly and I am a night sweater anyway. It is very soft and cushions my face so I don't wake up with sleep mask lines but only if you don't wear it too tightly. I did and had a nasty sleep line under one eye that was a bit sore. Apparently I sleep rather hard. Also, I am a side sleeper so I do have to adjust this to keep from sliding when I shift from side to side, which is why I fit it too tightly that one time. It is still worth the trouble though because I don't wake up with dry eyes from the fan anymore and sleep more soundly without the glare of my husband's Kindle or computer keeping me up.

This is the second Plemo mask I have had, the first one was very comfortable lasted awhile, and eventually came apart at the seams. I understand things wear out, and ordered my second one. It was again very comfortable, have had it about a month, and have run into a problem that I did not have with my first mask, that makes me not able to continue using the new mask. Twice now in the morning I have awoken to find the mask has bled black color onto the pillow case, and sheet. We have had many very warm nights this summer, and apparently I sweat onto the mask and the black dye bleeds onto the pillow case and sheet. I double soaked the pillow case and the stain came out of it, the stain would not come out of the sheet that was stained. I have ordered another mask which is a light grey color which I hope does not bleed onto the bed linens.

The layers began peeling apart pretty quickly after regular use. Maybe this mask is good for occasional travel use, but it's terrible as a nightly light-blocking solution. It may be soft, but it is not durable in the least. I do not recommend this product unless you want to constantly be realigning the mask's material before every use.
UPDATE: I was contacted by Avantek and offered a full refund for my purchase, along with an apology from the customer service department for the product's quality. I feel this was a particularly nice gesture by the company, and while I won't be purchasing their sleep masks again, it does them credit that they reach out to their customers like this and I am more likely to consider other products from this company as a result.

This product arrived on time and in perfect condition. The first thing thay I would like to comment on is the size if this mask - it is large enough to cover your eyes plus extra so that it does not slip around and uncover your eyes while using it. The mask is very comfortable as it has some slight padding to the portion that covers your eyes. This same area of the mask also if formed slightly outward so that the mask is not putting direct pressure on your eyes. How wonderful is that?! I would fully recommend this sleep mask.

Generally speaking, I like this product. Very soft. I really don't even sense I am wearing it at night. However, they don't tend to last more than a couple of months without pulling apart at the seams. I have had two of these in the past year and they both have done the same thing. I threw the first one away and am still using the second one even though it is coming apart. That being said, they are only 9 bucks, so its not the end of the world. They do have a one year warranty, but I have not pursued the matter.

I am a 3rd shifter and desperately needed a sleep mask to block out the anoying light in the morning. I am also a very light sleeper. I looked at the reviews and thought I'd give this one a try. Well I give it 5 stars! It's so soft and comfortable to wear. I am also a side sleeper and have no issues. The only thing that I would have liked was a little bit of added fabric over my nose. If i happen to open my eyes and it's not on tight I can see a little bit of the light. Other than that golden.

This thing is amazing at keeping light out! I am as light a sleeper as they come.. any little sound or any sign of light immediately wakes me up. I was skeptical about this because of the price but wow! It keeps 100% of the light OUT. I've haven't had the issue of being awoken by the sun since I bought this. I have no regrets at all! Only reason it got 4 stars is because the material stars to get deep wrinkles in it over time.. but it still does its job despite this & for the price I can't complain.
