If you’re on the fence, get it.

I was so afraid of wasting $25. But I didn’t. I love my sodas cold. But sometimes there’s not a cold one available, and waiting 30-40 min for one to get cold in the freezer is not always ideal.

This will get your room temp can to fridge cold in 90 seconds. I let it run double that to get almost freezer cold.

I wish it had a power cord. But i do appreciate the portability that the batteries provide. I can’t wait to try it out on vacationing, as access to cold sodas isn’t always available.

All you need is a literally a little bit of ice.

I was so excited about this product and could not wait for it. I received it, bought and put new batteries into it, and it NEVER WORKED(would not turn on)!!! I tried countless times to no avail... Then to make it worse, this item is a non-returnable item!

Ice sticks to aluminum cans and stalls the motor

It simply doesn't work. I tried ice in multiple sizes from different freezers and ice makers and different cans of soda and beer and the ice consistently sticks to the cans, stalling the motor. This thing is worthless and I'm particularly disappointed that I cannot return it. Oh well. Buyer beware.

This thing is awesome!!!! Highly highly recommend. My dad is a psycho when it comes to his soda being the coldest it can possibly be without actually being frozen. Before dinner, he puts his soda in the freezer (after already being in the refrigerator) for like 15 minutes and there’s been times he’s forgotten he’s left one in there and it’s exploded all over our freezer. Well not anymore! This thing is awesome . I tried it with a mini can of Dr Pepper and at first it would spin for a second and then the can wouldn’t spin but I realized there was ice where the spinner was so I cleared that out and counted to 60 , opened the can you right away - no explosion- and it was like it had been in the fridge for hours. I got this for my dad for his birthday and I am SO excited for him to open it! He’s a very impatient person so the fact that his soda will get cold in 60seconds is AMAZING. The material feels a little cheap but it works perfectly ! Never would have thought of this idea. If your on the fence on buying it, buy it! It won’t disappoint!!!

UPDATE: (a few months after buying it and writing the above review ^^)
I still agree with what I wrote about the product BUT apparently it is not made very well because it was only used about 3-4 times max before it stopped working out of no where for no reason? We thought the batteries were dead in it so we changed the batteries multiple times, in multiple ways & it just wouldn’t work. It sucks!!!! I got this as a gift for my dad and we were both so excited for him to be able to use it because he really would benefit from it & he only was able to use it like twice. Ugh so angry I can’t get a replacement 😩😡

Not worth the money, very cheaply made

This thing is garbage, cheaply made, only holds a 12 ounce can, I put 3 regular ice cubes in and it was jamming it up, Amazon won't take it back either.Do not waste your money, this thing isn't worth 5 dollars

Takes some finageling but...

Let's be honest, this is a novelty purchase. If you are buying this, you should not expect it to work perfectly or forever. What you should expect though, is that if you use it right, it will work. And it does. I was very skeptical. In fact, the first time my boyfriend used it, I was holding my breath, expecting that the beverage either wouldn't cool at all, or would warm up quickly as soon as it was exposed to room temperature. It admittedly took a few tries to get the can to stick. You have to have the right amount of ice. Too much and the device will lock up. But if you can get it to spin, it really does work as well as having your beverage in the refrigerator for an hour. And all that in just 60 seconds! I was impressed. Clearly, this isn't something we'll use frequently, but it's definitely something we know we can pull out in a pinch to quickly cool our beverages. Cans only, by the way. And only the size of a regular soda.

Immediately opened package put batteries in read instruction, grabbed a can of soda out of my 100+ degree garage put soda in and 90 seconds later had a brisk cold drink of soda!! This is amazing!

Works, but inconsistent and noisy

Bought this for home use to conserve refrigerator space for perishables. The Chill-O-Matic runs quite loudly, which makes sense considering it is spinning an aluminum can over ice very quickly. I was surprised at how quickly it burned through batteries. Bought rechargeable batteries specifically to use on the device.
I would like to see the possibility of an AC adapter on a future model.

This is a fantastic beverage chiller for the price. It'll chill your can in less than 2 minutes. I don't use it very often, so I'm not sure how well it'll hold up, but I've had it for a year and a half and it's still working OK.

Pros:
Works as described.
Is easy to use.
Is quick.
Is compact and doesn't take up a lot of counter space.
Looks OK. Is black and matches my other appliances.

Cons:
Yes, it is a little noisy. But only for a couple minutes.
Sometimes the can detaches from the suction cup.
Works only on unopened cans. It'd be nice if the can could be vertical, so if it's open, it'd work.
I'm not sure it can accommodate or handle bottles. (I prefer cans, so doesn't matter to me.)
Other people have mentioned battery drain. I've got a bunch of rechargeables, so don't care.

Go ahead, you know you want one.

What did I like first it worked instantly and kind of ice really doesn’t matter. I prefer super chilly cans so I did mine for about 2 minutes. It works and it’s affordable. Will not work w bottles though. Hopefully that will be coming someday soon. Where’s the beer bottle or wine bottle chiller.

What I did not like about it or would do to improve the product is. 1 have an optional ac cord. It takes AA batteries so hope you have rechargables. 2 it is a bit noisy for the office. Other than that a terrific little product that saves time and works.

I’m getting another for my mother as well as a Yeti can cooler to keep it cold. Science rocks!
