Wow, this is incredibly disappointing! I just got off the phone with Bosch support and they were very rude, laughed at me and hung up on me twice. My es2.5 was installed for less than 1 year and after about 8 months I started to notice the hot water was cloudy which I kind of dismissed at first until it was clearly a brownish tint. I had to take it apart and handle water while talking to 'Nick' from Bosch to show them pictures of the anode (placed horribly fyi). They refused to send me a replacement anode under warranty because they misunderstood something I said on the call. The anode needs to be inspected annually except it hasn't been installed for a year. They told me to not use the hot water heater anymore then told me to purchase a new anode and 'give it a try' which is a horrible, horrible idea with water under the sink. I absolutely LOVED this product at first but I am telling you to not purchase this product or you will need to replace it very quickly and possibly deal with horrible representatives of a huge corporation.
