Update: The seller contacted me, and sent a replacement. It unrolled better, and even went onto the wall better. Unfortunately, it still didn't stick as well as I would have liked. To solve this issue I just went ahead and blatantly taped it up and made a border. It actually looks nice this way. I up'd the rating by one star for good service, and an attempt to fix the issue. If they continue to work on it this diligently it may become an excellent product in the future. Posted a Pic.

I really, REALLY wanted to love this. Unfortunately it just didn't stand up to par in my household. It wouldn't stick to the wall....at all. We actually had to -tape- it the first day which defeats the purpose : /. In comparison, we have a world map on our wall that sticks excellently and we got it at the same time.
I suppose, though, if you are ok with taping it to your wall that it erases fairly well. We cut ours in half and used it as a big math board for our girls (Very very long if you leave it be).

So I wanted to see if liquid chalk markers work on this whiteboard, and they do! Quite well, actually. The longest I let the liquid chalk marker stay on was ~ 1 week. No problems wiping off with just a dry paper towel. There are, however, some colors that left ghosting, mainly the blues and the gold. Water did nothing so I used windex. Well, I'm not sure what kind of film Windex leaves behind, but now the whiteboard is having a hard time accepting new liquid chalk writings. I'm not sure what to do. If anybody has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I read the reviews and found that the sticky stuff doesn't work that well on walls. That is true, and especially since my wall isn't perfectly flat, I knew it probably wouldn't stick well. All I did was use some blue masking tape along the edges to keep it flush. It works beautifully. I cut it into 2 sheets and now I have my own personal wall to write on. I use it all the time. Great college study aid.

Product is great, just be careful when installing, using 2 persons to do the job is better to ensure quality,

This stuff works great! I found a used rolling white board that despite my best efforts using every suggestion I could find online just was not able to be cleaned so it looked really bad. I tried EVERYTHING without success. The Peel and Stick Wall Decal was my last option and to be honest I didn't hold high hopes. I was so wrong! It works just wonderfully and now the white board looks brand new and so easy to clean! I wish it came in wider rolls but if you're careful with placement you can align it carefully so the seams aren't noticeable. I haven't tried applying it to a painted wall yet, but it was easy to pull back off and reposition when I was installing it. I liked it so much I ordered more! And the price is sure less than any white board you can find out there! A great product!

This is absolute crap, I was able to get it to do what I need it to, but I had to nail each side to the wall, and it's not all the way flat of course. THIS WILL NOT STICK long term, it lasted less than 24 hours before it was peeling off!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could get my money back, and if I do get a credit, than I'll delete my comment and my star. CRAP

I am reviewing my earlier review. The seller contacted me shortly after it was posted and was very helpful. So I go from 1 for not a good so good product to 4 for a hopefully really good outcome. If nothing else, the seller's response is commendable.
immeduiately This is the first negative rating I've ever given. I bought this for my daughter, who is in college out of the country. She put it up on her dorm wall and went to do an errand. When she came back, 15 minutes later, the product had fallen off the wall and was a crumpled mess on the floor. If you buy this, you need to secure it with Gorilla tape or something similar, which is what I'm going to do with the other one I'm now forced to order again.

I had to take a moment to write a review because this is a great product. Well worth the price and exactly what I expected it to be. Make sure when rollingthis onto a wall you keep it tight. Mine went on great, no problems.

I gave this product 4 stars because I like the quality and the bright white color. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it kept rolling up even though I left it open and put some heavy books on it. Also the paper on the back kept ripping and it was hard to stick one end and peel the backing off. I purchased another brand and it was so much easier to peel and stick and the quality is just as good. I have to say though that the communication from the staff at Silicon Valley was amazing and they were willing to refund me my money if I wasn't satisfied with the product. Great service. Keep it up

For the price, cant beat it. That said it is a strange size, long and skinny. My only complaint would be that it is very difficult to adhear to a flat surface beacuse of the size and because of the roll. If they rolled it the other way (shinny side out) it would be less prone to pulling away from the wall.
But, you can alleviate these issues by spending about 10 times the amount on a solid board, so shoot. Its a great deal!
